The Age Gap being a double standard is something that benefits a woman’s sexual strategy— only real reason it’s encouraged for women, but discouraged for men.

Did you crawl out of a hole. I8 year old dating a 30 year old man has not been the norm for at least the last 40 years. I can understand 20 dating 26 as the norm. Also, we seem to be in an eco chamber here, where every little thing is exaggerated.

Gentlemen, let’s calm the outrage down a little bit. It is distorting reality.

My wife (28) has a huge crush on a 19 year old NHL player. She watches all his games, looks at tiktok edits etc.

I don't think it's wrong but I wonder how she would feel if I openly crushed on a 19 year old girl.

From my subjective experience, people are more and more like 'Two consenting adults can do whatever they want with each other, and people shouldn't judge it' at least in my country but I think also in many countries in Europe.

An older man dating a younger woman may raise eyebrows more than an older woman dating a younger man but the overall direction of our society seems to be 'do whatever you like; dating and sexual choices must not be judged'
