You're already focused too much on how you're going to "perform" on this date to win her over. That's just another symptom of future-planning and overinvesting. It's needy and desperate and will make you act in an insecure manner.

You need the opposite: Chill out. Don't think about how to do well. Just go on the date without a clear plan. Stop caring about her, or whether the date goes good or bad or whatever happens. Stop caring so much and let go.

With 1st and 2nd date I usually avoid dinner or movie date. Just because sitting down for like an hour or more is not really efficient to get to know each other.

But it depends on your location. If you’re by the sea then take her snorkeling. If by the mountain then take her mountain hiking. If none? Just take her to an amusement park or something. Anything that involves real activities, even tho it’s not physically hard, but can make you both being active and give you a lot of chances of physical contacts.

Putt putt, really any activities that allow for flirtatious banter. If you didnt kiss on the first date make sure you go for one this time, member she wants to be desired not admired. Let her worry about relationship status and just go have fun, if shes into you nothing else matters and it will go great!

It’s not your job to try to push things towards something serious, that’s the woman’s job. Your only job is to hang out, have fun, hookup and constantly evaluate her character everytime you hang out. Nothing else.

So, not your job to seek labels, commitments, expectations, or to try to set a journey towards commitments or to try to lock her down. The relationship has to be her idea at her own pace, not yours.

Your job is to gatekeeper the relationship until she proves worthy, if you have already decided she is worthy after just one date then you sound needy and putting her on a pedestal because you don’t know at all if she would actually make a good girlfriend or if she is truly compatible with you.

Just because you like her now doesn’t mean you will be happy with certain things she does as a girlfriend if you didn’t screen her properly for many months before deciding to establish something serious.
