False dichotomy. You can do either at different stages in your life, based on your lifestyle at the time, options and preference.

The important thing is to make this decision based on your own preferences, not what someone else wants you to do.

I'd rather have a great LTR. But that's only because I see hunting women as a chore not as a fun activity. If I magically believed that it was fun to hunt women and I enjoyed the thrill of it or felt it was easy, then I dunno, maybe I'd think differently. But I don't right now.

Getting your shit together is #1 priority though. Forget women until you do that first.

Oneitis is bad because it will cause you to rationalise away things you shouldn't about the relationship. It will cause you to become complacent and docile, rather than the best version of yourself.

If I have my shit together and am single, there will be no shortage of women who I can pick from.

If the LTR gives frequent BJs I'd rather that over the chase with fewer BJs but a little more sex. Just a preference. It comes down to sex vs. sex + how good of a mother and human being she is (if I'm choosing between plates or LTR).

WOmen only feel attraction for a man, and that attraction can fluxuate. women write songs about this fluxuating attraction for their man.
