The reason for dismissal by the judge can be publicly accessed. These are 2 separate women, the one that issued an apology is not the one that got sued by the singer. He requested 5 different charges and they all got dismissed because the evidence provided by him did not meet the standard (for defamatory statements) according to Dutch law

I think he didn't do himself any favors by adding on 2 accusations that were bullshit, accusing the woman of stalking him or his business partners with just 2 WhatsApp messages to a crew and other band member as evidence is just stupid.
Nor did he provide direct evidence that the woman leaked his unpublished song.

From the court document it seems she is one of those cringe therapy speak life coaches that make tiktok, instagram and youtube shorts and doing those dance moves. It seems like she shared her interpretation of their relationship but didn't name him in the videos. Then afterward on her channel related discord it came out that it was indeed him. At least that is what I can read was provided as evidence by this guy in his court case.

In one it was a whatsapp exchange with a picture of her scratched butt, insinuating he was abusive and that was a result of not calling him god. While not great to me that is one of the mildest forms of abuse, if I am honest the context, tone and body language of that would really matter for it to be considered abuse by me. Then again my frame of reference might be off after being physically bullied as a teenager and been hit with closed fist in relationships by women, not to mention the things that have been said that have affected me mentally.

Maybe i change my mind if I see any of the actual videos and discord messages but from the court case I can see why the judge dismissed it.

I think a dismissal of a summary proceeding is quite relevant, yes. And it was not dismissed on a technicality, he failed to meet the standard required just like hearsay shouldn't land you in prison. I don't think either of your options are good descriptions of the events. A better description of events would be.

Artists career in ruins, blames his accusers for his downfall. Artist files suits against his accusers. One of the accusers retracts their accusation and publicly apologises for spreading misinformation. One accuser wins summary proceeding filed against her by artist.

The daily mail seems to completely omit the summary proceeding, something i think is also not representative of the whole story. That being said their article is specifically about the British girl that made the accusation so that makes sense to me.

Both do a terrible job at providing information about the whole story. RS is pretty terrible in laying out the court case which their article is primarily about.

I meant misinformation as spreading falsehoods, i did not intend it to be a euphemistic statement for the false accusations of rape and pursuit of underage girls. It's my understanding she didn't make these accusations herself but repeated them from others that did make them.

Stop making it about semantics, it's his claim she accused thus i used that word. Just read the freaking court doc. You'd see how frivolous the claims in it are and the clear intent and severity that is lacking in what was actually done.

It seems like you think this guy is being wrongfully accused and he is being denied justice.

Personally I don't have enough information to come to any decisive conclusions about anyone.

I need a whole lot more evidence to believe he got canned because of these accusations and not that it was a convenient excuse cause he was already doing poorly.

I need more evidence that he actually maliciously did anything to any woman and these aren't just women that don't like the outcome of the relationship they had with him.

Similarly I'd need more information and read the other accusations and evidence and can't outright dismiss that just based on these 2 that do not meet my standards for abuse, rape or pursuit of a relationships with minors.

None of which is relevant if someone isnt being charged (which is what you said you were grateful for). Those considerations are made at the sentencing stage of a prosecution; There cannot be a sentencing without the preceding steps of a criminal prosecution (charge and arrest, arraignment,..).

The issue here is that if you do not provide amnesty for false accusers, they literally have no reason to tell the truth... If you give them an out, then the accused at least has some chance to recover and repair their life.

This can be applied to literally any instance of slanderous and/or libelous accusations being raised whether theyre of sexual misconduct in nature or not. Principally, i reject the idea that we should refrain from even beginning to prosecute a crime on the basis that it would be best if the people who committed those crimes were compelled to confess and consequences would dissuade that.

The fact is that such an accusation simply being raised against you is already generally going to preclude you from ever being truly cleared of the accusation. Ruination befalls the accused the moment the accusation is levied against them; Why should they not pursue restitution?
