Think about it this way, if everything happens too fast, like you see on YouTube where the girl barely gets to know you, doesn't know where you’re from or what you do, then when you leave with her number, you're still just a stranger to her. Why would she want to see you again? The chances are very slim.

However, if she learns a few things about you and feels good in your presence during those 5–10 minutes, if you show her you can hold a conversation, that you're friendly, optimistic, playful, then things get interesting. The chances of her wanting to see you again become much higher.

The success rate needs to be over 60%. If you're getting a lower percentage, that’s a red flag, it’s a clear sign you’re doing something wrong.

Not a ton to be honest

Definitely under 50%

But if you keep getting numbers it does help

Many women will give you their number just to be nice and not be serious about meeting up again

I got some numbers today and I tend to be kinda forward and ask for a date right away which is a mixed bag.

I feel like if I don't make myself clear at the start I will get friend zoned but on the flip side being so forward is off putting for girls who like to take things slower and might still be down for fun once they get to know you.

I don't think there's any magical % you should aim for, but my advice is to just keep trying and learning from your experiences though practice. In my own experience, girls usually give their numbers pretty easily when you guys are having a casual conversation but it's hard to convert it to an actual date because a lot of them are scared.

If you can't make a girl feel both comfortable and interested then once you go separate ways it will fizzle out and go nowhere so it's all about being clear but flirty and keeping the mood light and being a good texter.

Btw I suck at texting and keeping conversations going online so I always feel things go dry when I take it to text, I actually prefer to call, definitely something I'd like to get better in is texting and keeping her interested / engaged.
