To be clear they didn’t actually measure anything with scientific value, just finger lengths, and then fed the participants ridiculous lies about how “manly” or “feminine” they were. No one could believe that Polish university students are so stupid that they took this seriously. You can’t draw any conclusions from answers that are given under such circumstances.

A quick read makes me think the study had the following bias:

It shows men don’t want to do as much house chores and childcare as women, claiming the men are therefore sexist.

The problem is they aren’t exploring the trade offs or the reverse. Are the women out working as much and bringing home an equal income? Are women equally willing to try to fix a plumbing problem?

It appears to me that this study has the same problem that most house chores studied do: It ignores the fact that men and women often focus in different things (division of labor), only focusing on the things women do more but not the things men do more. Men still bring in most of the household income, men still do most household maintenance and projects, but studies like this simply ignore that.

Add: it also ignores that men and women often want to do different things. Many women want to focus on child rearing or want to be a stay at home wife, focusing on home care. A man letting his wife focus on what she wants to focus on doesn’t make him sexist.

Feminist research has such an extensive history of knowing and malicious lies in service of its agenda there has to be absolutely extraordinary evidence to even make it worth considering.

it’s unscientific, sorry to sound pretentious but that paper is a loads of biases it is incredibly disingenuous to pass it as sort of study
