It's the lack of supports such as in school boys don't get scholarships funded by taxes like girls do. Female teachers don't want gaps closed in school to maintain girls advantages. Then marking inequalities are clearly an issue, this would like follow into university.

I also have been in a job interview where it was clear by the faces of these white women they have no intention of hiring me. Its so obvious they don't like interviewing white men. This has happened numerous times with me.

We also see when professions fill with women it's celebrated as "diverse" like teaching, psychology, health.

I mean if you're a young man in 2026, depressed and seek a counsellor how the hell can 90% of them being women not impact you? There's a lopsided representation of your sex's views. Even psychology is 80% female. These are biased views not representing everybody. They become feminist hubs of ideological treatment. If you see a therapist there's a likelihood it's all because of toxic masculinity. Where a female client will be given sympathy as she'sa "protected characteristic".

I’m a woman but I’ve noticed that some other women like to make littler derogatory comments about men. For example, today at work I overheard two female coworkers talking about this female author who has an ai boyfriend and one of them said “well I don’t blame her for not wanting to date real men”.
I also have another coworker who will say “men🙄” when someone complains about their boyfriend/husband.

Misandry often isn't about direct acts, it's about neglect and apathy. It's systemic and structural ways that society doesn't give two shits about men. How many times have you heard people complain that women weren't allowed to work in certain industries? I can't imagine another situation where that could possibly be framed as a negative for women instead of a negative for men. Women weren't allowed to work in those industries because it was too dangerous. But no one gave a shit if men got hurt.

Medical experiments on men only? That's because it was too dangerous to do them on women, not because people hated women.

Men make more money than women? That's because men work more hours than women.

MGM isn't illegal is because even infant boys are viewed with apathy.

You're not going to find nearly as many overt acts of misandry. Look for the apathy and you'll find many examples. Look at news headlines and stories and what they focus on. If you remember Boko Haram back in 2014 kidnapped 276 girls and the world went ape shit. They had killed hundreds of boys before that but no one gave a shit so they escalated to kidnapping girls. Let me repeat that , hundreds of boys lost their lives and no one cared. Hundreds of girls are kidnapped and the world stops.

Look at movies and tv shows and how they protray people. The fastest way for writers to establish who a bad guy is to have him kill or hurt a woman. They can killed as many men as they want and still be a good guy. But kill one woman and you're the devil.

Look at government supports. There are hundreds of studies that show men are just as likely to be victims of abuse as women are. But there's 3 orders of magnitude more shelters for women than for men.

Look at who charities support. the UN does not give aid/food to men, only women.

Not a guy, but misandry is normalized in everyday life in my experience. All the female friend groups I’ve been in have had some level of misandry within them; they’d say men are stupider than women, they’d make jokes about hitting men, they’d say they hate men, that the world would be better off without men etc - all things that they’d immediately get offended at if spoken about women. One time had a girl laugh about a guy who had his testicles chopped off by his girlfriend, she justified it with “he cheated” when I wasn’t laughing along. Used to know someone who would go around groping men, but it would at best be treated as a “weird quirk” rather than something that crossed a line and she never got into trouble for it as far as I know. Knew someone else who claimed to be a lesbian but she admitted herself that she would go on online dating or “friendship” apps and would purposefully lead them on and then act dumb when they tried to take it to the next level, because “it was entertaining” to her.

My own mother has made comments about men being dumber than women, being “controlled by lust” and has said she doesn’t understand why I advocate for men when “they do all the bad things in the world”.

Other women in relationships that I know have said things like “men are like children”, “I need a wooden spoon to keep him in line”, “the woman’s the boss” etc in regards to their boyfriends or husbands.

BTW, it’s not all women, but unfortunately it’s widespread. It’s this often condescending attitude where men are spoken about like burdens or punching bags one second but as oppressive villains the next, depending on how powerful or how oppressed the speaker feels on that day.

I often don't get seats on share-autos because the women want to sit comfortably so I am asked to sit near the driver and travel hanging on a 35kmh vehicle . I know this is kinda weird but this is probably one of the daily occurances of misandry, lot of stuff like this happen in South Asia on a daily basis

Heyyy, I'm a feminist so lemme just explain some stuff.

I agree with most of this stuff except two things. First, there's women who don't hate men but seem a little rude, they're just a bit guarded because of personal experience or hearing bad things. I'm personally pretty guarded around men too, because I've been stalked, catcalled, and leered at since 13, but that doesn't mean I'm walking around screaming "HATE MEN". There's also plenty of statistics that often put women at guard too, which is not wrong as long as they're not talking shit. But then there's "feminists" who shit on men, and those are just misandrists, not feminists. Feminism is equality for everyone, not "women better".

"But, what else affects us the most? Is there something that affects us daily? What have you guys experienced that affects your day to day life?"

I'm obvi not a guy, so I cannot give my perspective on this, but I know that the patriarchy is in and of itself misandry. It reduces men to protecting muscle heads who only earn money and do jobs. So I guess this mindset could affect men?

Also, just a point, it's tots ok for a woman to be guarded, like I said before. Pls, no man should take that as rude. "Not all men", but it is statistically mostly is men. Not saying that men are bad, just saying that guardedness is ok.

It has a very, VERY small effect on my daily life. . .but that small effect affects a massive amount of women!

Misandry has forced me to “pause”.

I pause when my instincts tell me to approach the young lady crying in public over something. I pause when my instincts tell me to pull over & assist this woman on the side of the road. I pause when my instincts tell me to hold the door for female strangers. I pause when my masculine instincts tell me to get in-between that 115-lb lady and the 250-lb man yelling at her. I pause when a man retaliates by hitting a woman back. . .tho I fully understand the inexhaustible power differential between the two. I pause when my instincts are, naturally, to support ANYONE claiming they desire ‘equality’. I pause whenEVER I hear about professional male athletes being accused of a crime against a woman. I pause when my instincts know it is wrong for someone to allow a girl to wrestle w/teenage boys, box w/males, compete in MMA/UFC w/males or even attempt to get on the football field (usually for ONE play so they can make history). I pause when my instincts tell me to help that lady struggling mightily to carry (whatever). I pause any/every-time I hear “toxic”, “misogyny”, “narcissistic”, “grooming”, “controlling”, “a real man”, etc. I pause whenever a female applies for an engineering position on my team <<—>> in the past, I’ve invited all other team members from other departments to sit in on my weekly training sessions with my team to help them better understand the discipline, to pick up on things the could use in their own home AND to help them hit the ground running in case they decide they want to become an engineer in the future. Not only do I now pause with that accommodation, but I pause anytime any female wants a training, advice or a 1-on-1 session of any kind. I pause when women in Home Depot are CLEARLY grabbing for the wrong tools/supplies they need for the job I overhear them describing. I pause to avoid being label as “mansplaining” by a woman who GENUINELY doesn’t understand what she’s referencing.

In one more generation, men (in the feminist Utopian West) will not even HAVE these instincts in the first place. Mainstream Misandry has backfired on modern women in a way they are desperate to reverse, but have no idea how.

I've become hyperaware after trauma.

One partner sexually abused me. They went on to explain that it was due to me not finishing in bed, which meant I was the abusive one, because men are abusive. I told them I felt shame; they said good. They were taking testosterone at the time; they said that it was no wonder men rape with how they felt. They lamented that sex was somehow less violent to men. I still have flashbacks and wonder if I was raped (they had set a timer for me to finish and made me prove I could).

My therapist encouraged me to profess my love to try to "save" them. Hard to imagine that happening with the genders flipped to me.

Got a new therapist, got a new less abusive partner. New therapist: "you dont have trauma. You're overthinking it." Me: "The last person that person dated tried to kill themselves and dropped out of school and I'm on the edge." Therapist: "So what, they're an asshole." That new partner: "Stop silencing women" (when I tell them my experience, 1 on 1, not in response to them bringing up anything).

Couples therapist when that partner lies to them about our dynamic praises them for having empathy to try to be with someone as incompetent as me, thst men usually are (in almost those words, while I'm present). Me: "actually I do quite a lot" (say, all cooking and cleaning and planning between us). Therapist tells my partner how special they are and how strong they are for breaking up with me. Welp, I can't pay rent now and its like 2 months left of my PhD which is now severely disrupted as I need to relocate since they walked out on me with no conversation first and I spent all my money helping pay for THEIR surgery recovery and they make sure to extract a few grand from me on the basis of what seems fair to them but was actually, retrospectively, super exploitative.

My female friends: "yeah men cant take care of anyone and dont have empathy so they were probably right to break up with you." Male friends: "You should just be better." Family: "Get a job, nothing else matters to us." Its hard to imagine getting through that with zero humans playing the role of validating that "wait that's horrible" if I was a woman.

All leftwing online spaces echo my abusers about men. Rightwing spaces acknowledge certain realities and then try to smuggle in fascism after every clause.

The idea of being a self sufficient lone wolf who makes his own meaning is appealing. For me it feels like a last resort. Its almost a caricature, but I'm learning why men fall for the sigma/alpha bs if they try to cope with this. Every day people who supposedly care about me try to coerce me into doing more for them and shame me if I don't. They are smuggling in additional expectations to try to extract more out of me, and the message it sends is that my value is only in what I produce, which is a fragile existance without a strong separation of my individuality from them. I cannot talk to strangers because they are afraid of me, but woman around me freely can. The people who I have been vulnerable to have abused me so thoroghly that I have flashbacks. Ive tried four different therapists over four years, giving each an honest try, shopping aggressively for modalities that work, and it all turns to misandrist bs the moment a woman is involved.

There's a certain bleakness to this existance that is distinctly masculine and disposable.

How does it affect us? Well, being disposable affects most men. Maybe where you're from you don't have conscription military, but a lot do. And even if not, at some point you might be drafted.

The unfortunate reality is that both men and women view men as more disposable, and are more likely to sacrifice men for whatever purpose.
