I mean, there all kinds of men out there with all kinds of opinions, but I can't imagine a man thinking a woman was "icky" because she was raped. Anyway, if there is a small minority of men who would think such a thing, that is definitely not the man for you (or frankly probably for anyone, but that's a side issue).

If it were me, I'd more want to know how your history affects you, and by extension, affects me. If your plan is to use me as your untrained, unqualified therapist, that isn't something I'm going to sign up for because that's doing neither of us any favors.

And just to be honest, thinking back to when I was a virgin, granted I was 15 so we're not talking about the most mature person on the planet here, but I wouldn't have really known what to make of a rape survivor and would have felt like I was just in way over my head and probably would have opted out because that's just more uncharted territory than my 15-year-old brain was going to be able to handle.

I only bring this up because you said you're looking for someone with the "same preferences". A really really inexperienced guy might be concerned about what he's setting himself up for, if he's harming you, if things go south is it something on his end? Something related to your history? Something else? That's just a lot of extra pressure on the guy for his first time when there's already a lot of pressure.

Many women have non-consensual experiences, it's very common. Why we should not judge women on body count in the first place, many who are in the normal range have one or two that was non-consensual.
