There are a number of executive orders and bills collectively known as affirmative action that advantage women over men in job hiring. Add to that DEI policies favoring women.

The preferential treatment towards women in job hiring is easily uncovered with a simple internet search. It’s amazing the theories people will come up with to avoid addressing the documented discrimination against men. It’s the same with education, health, and other areas: People simply refuse to acknowledge discrimination against boys and men.

I have seen feminists use the argument that "Men are seen as providers therefore they have freedom to do whatever job they want but women are still seen as housewives and not breadwinners." as a reason for hiring of women in stem and other male dominated fields.
