Same in Australia. Girls first, before the "dirty little boys". Teachers were sexist pigs, pushing women's liberation while brutally enforcing strict male gender roles on boys.

Not in the US. Its a mad rush to beat the bell. Very little is separated by gender in the public schools.

In Belgium, I've never heard of this kind of practice being imposed by a teacher. In fact when I was in high school, if a boy/teenager wanted to let girls, or some girl in particular go first as a gesture of courtesy, that was his business, but none of that was ever dictated by a teacher...

I grew up in Russia and I was taught by my mom to let women come through the door first. Except exiting the bus, when I am supposed to go first and offer her my hand to hold. Maybe I should feel bad about it, but it used to impress girls back in the day.

We had the same situation in Russia about 15–20 years ago. We had basically no male teachers. It's very likely still the same today, but I've been out of school for so long that I can't really say for sure. Boys were also asked to put chairs up at the end of classes because, I believe, we were supposed to be stronger — despite the fact that the average girl was larger than the average boy at that age due to the growth spurt difference, lmao.

In germany children simply go into class, before class starts and before there is a techer in class.

Never seen that in the USA. Given the opportunity, I voluntarily hold the door for women (and was already doing so, in my school days), but it was never mandated.

It was like that in Canada growing up. Girls first, boys second. And on public transit all men and boys were expected to give their seats to women.

This is absolutely sexist. And this is not a little thing. First, they enter the classroom first, then they take any titanic boats first. It's just a sample of male disposability. It's systematic sexism against men.
