Yeah, if this is what your women's advocacy looks like, you're not really advocating for a woman, you're just being a hateful hateful soul. If your women's advocacy requires hating men, it's not the kind of advocacy for women I want to be a part of. Feminists make everything SO HARD. They clearly don't care about gender equality and somehow convinced entire nations and organizations that they do and have tied themselves so hard to left-wing spaces, that it's pretty much impossible to take feminism out of them.

If it's so terrible for women right now, wouldn't you rather your child be a boy? You can at least do something about educating your boy to be not misogynistic, but you can't necessarily protect your girl from every misogynistic man she'd ever meet, especially online.

What I find so odd about these people is how they seemingly care more about these mysterious "other people" that are being oppressed, than even their friends and family. Do you really care more about some other woman/women that might be hearing mean things from your son (if you fail to raise him properly), than you care about your own girl to experience these things from men you can't control out there in this terrible world in your mind?

This is not to even mention that these days are probably the best times for women in human history (in the west). They have more protections and more prospects and more independence than ever before. Do these people really think, when they say things like this supposed terrible misogyny going around, that it used to be better for women? 50 years ago was better for women? 100 years ago? Put things in perspective here.

Seriously, they need to just stop and go outside and touch grass for a moment and listen to themselves outside of the echo chamber. Women in Afghanistan would kill to be where they're at, and so would their own grandmothers, when they were young women. So insane to frame the time we're at as this supposed calamity for women. Are things perfect? No, but it's probably better than ever before.

When we talk about women with insecurities she's "a victim of misogyny". But when we talk about men's insecurities it the fault of "toxic masculinity". This is the reason I dont like the term "toxic masculinity", although yes, there are negative traits of ultra masculinity. But its become a way to victim blame men. Everyone complains men dont open up enough, but they never seriously consider WHY some men dont. Men are blamed for everything including their own insecurities.

I mean, these quotes are basically taken under duress. If he says “you know what, I think guys are getting a bad wrap. That would basically end his career.

It’s like religion, or McCarthyism. It’s an ideology that does not tolerate other ideologies, and Hollywood, operating as a cohesive in-group does not tolerate division in its ranks.

They say “kiss the ring” and he’s supposed to make a show of bowing low and kissing the ring.
