A mother's number one priority is her child(ren). And that's not a negative -- that's what her priorities are supposed to be. If she was prioritizing you or herself and not her kid, that would be an even bigger red flag than being a single mother.

But there are 3.5 billion women on Earth. Even if this particular single mother seems okay, there are other women out there who are better in every single way -- including not being a single mom. Why would a man who's worth a shit sell himself short by marrying or seriously dating a woman like this when he has options with other women who are better in every single way?

After reading trp on single moms and their kids, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. It's not worth all the heartaches you might get from her and her kids ('you're not my daddy so fuck off' type stuff)
