My friend offered me to move into a sophomore dorm with him where I get my own room. My Gf said she won't see me anymore if I leave my dorm to stay where the new room is, basically because of the way her schedule is and because it shows that I don't care about the relationship if I'm able to move that far away.

She came to my room and cried for about an hour then asked me to see things from her perspective, then I decided maybe I'll just stay.

We've been sleeping together since the second week of school and right now we live next door to each other so I see where she's coming from, but in reality if I move away it gives me

  • Distance which could add dread

  • A room to myself without a roommate (so I could bring other girls)

  • More me time as I'll have no distractions

  • Closer to the gym AND cafeteria

  • My own kitchen

I'm almost certain that the correct move would be to to move and get my own bigger room, but why was that decision so hard for me to make before I asked 5 different friends for "advice"? They told me I should move and if she doesn't understand or can't make the 3 minute walk to see me she's not worth it.

Why is it that I've been on trp for 2 years and I've read and read and thought I knew how to handle shit tests, wouldn't let myself be controlled, etc. but right now I was inches away from complying to her wishes and staying next door to her?

How can I prevent myself from making the wrong decisions down the road when it comes to girls?

Because of this, I honestly believe I'm not ready for LTRs, Plates or really any continued interactions with women yet.
