So a little background first. My wife is the jealous type. Always has been. Lucky for me, her jealousy caused my BP female friend circle fooled her into thinking I was more alpha back in my single days. Now she's run off any females that come close.

For years I've been involved in Jiu Jitsu, which puts me I. Close physical contact with women. In particular she hamsters out when it comes to this one girl. We will call her Sally.

Short version of current issues: I've been turning on TRP stuff slowly, and she wigs out about loss of control. We have the talk, and I tell her she's going to have to learn to be my first officer. She says she can't do that, she wants to be co captain. I told her that's not going to happen.

During that talk she mentions the fact that I started doing kickboxing as well. I told her I wanted to improve myself, it's my money, and it's my choice. She didn't like any of those answers. I finally tell her that part of the decision process was that I had to chose between doing kickboxing for 6 months for $500, or going to a Jiu Jitsu seminar for three days that I go to every year for $500. I chose the kickboxing option because it's better use of the money, and because Sally was going this year, and she and I were the only two from our school, which means she and I would partner up the whole time. Conversation abruptly is over, hamster has gone to sleep.

Fast forward to today. While getting ready this morning she tells me that her and some of her single friends are going to have a girls weekend. I tell her good luck with that, and go on. I know what her friends are like, 5/10s but like getting drunk and acting like 8/10s. The whole reason she is doing this shit now is to power play me. She wants to prove that she still has power over me, and to see how I will react.

So the question is, do I dread her with the "I decided to go to the Jiu Jitsu seminar" and piss her off, or just make the best of it? It will send her into orbit if I change my mind and go spend the weekend with this other girl. If I want to call in a total nuke strike, Sally has already posted on Facebook that she and I are going to the seminar, and is asking for someone to split a room with; and since no one else is going... I am pretty sure that would make her pop. Keep in mind, I have NEVER been unfaithful to my wife, and I am not about to start now; I just know that this would pretty much cause nuclear winter with her.
