I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with it. Divorces are such grueling and draining leeches on your life, its natural to be happy the divorce is final.

I think its an attempt to try and put a positive spin on the future, while putting the past behind you. Keep in mind, only a small percentage of people actually do this type of thing... and its just one way out of many to try and mentally turn the page.
