If you can say anything about polygamy it is that it's anti men.

Unless Kenya has some screwed up male/female ratio then polygamy would mean that many poor men will be be unable to find wives.

These aren't MRAs. These are traditionalist Kenyan men writing laws to give themselves benefits over everyone else, including other men.

If anything this type of law is akin to what feminists do. Write special laws that privilege one group over another.

To be an MRA, means that any law/privilege that you ask for yourself must be gender neutral and apply to all.

Hit piece indeed.

Don't attribute to ignorance what can otherwise be attributed to malice. They're not misconceptions, they're purposeful lies meant to slander us.

That said, I have nothing against polyamory. Polygamy as practised in these backwards societies is pretty poisonous though, for everyone involved.

MRA's want to be able to repudiate wife and children at will
MRA's want to take away women's right to vote
MRA's want to allow men to rape children
MRA's want immunity for rapists
MRA's think women commit most rapes
MRA's think women are all evil sociopaths
MRA's think women always lie about rape

There's a laundry list of such falsehoods, all gleefully spread by feminists and their manboobed legions of lickspittle orbiters.

I think misconceptions is being generous.

False accusations, if they are going to habitually falsely accuse us, we might as well use it to draw attention to false accusations.

MRA is to people that hate women what the republican party is to racism.

It's not what the organization stands for, but it's where those people feel comfortable.

It's really easy to pick out the angriest/most bitter commenters and just use them to color the whole thing. You can't deny there are a lot of bitter angry people that post here that really feel women are out to get them, and it's easy to just engage those people.
