Why isn't there a solid MRA group akin to NOW or NOMAS?

Well we all know how men's centers are on every campus and groups like CAFE are welcomed with open arms at the universities. It isn't like someone is stopping any kind of men's rights group from forming before they start.

Why isn't there a solid MRA group akin to NOW or NOMAS?

To paraphrase an early pioneer of the MRM, zenpriest, because, Organizing men is like herding cats; he went on the found MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way), which is a personal choice rather than an actual movement.

Despite every argument to the contrary, there was a large group (majority?) of MRAs who believed that organization would corrupt the movement or allow it to be co-opted, others found any kind of centralization distasteful, still others feared that organizing would provide the opposition (and I don't mean Voldemort) a target. To this day, there are many with this attitude. They also eschew street action.

IMO, at this point we are so weak, and both the movement and males in general are under such a concerted attack, that if we fail to organize, fail to protest, fail to present a physical presence in public, we are finished, and the female supremacists have won. Already our enemies are in the process of defining us to the general public. Websites, though essential for information and discussion, are far from sufficient: 99.9% of the public knows and/or cares less about gender issues and gender politics than about quantum mechanics; their ONLY exposure to the issues is the biased media and feminist PSAs.

By my own pessimistic estimate--which has too often shown to optimist--we have 6 months to organize and put boots on the ground, or the juggernaut we face will be irresistible.
