Hold them responsible? Of course not! They are the real victims in these cases, not the men.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, a law allowing you to do evil doesn't justify it. But on the other, for every public trial we put against people who utilize biased law, many other cases will fly under the radar, making us give undue attention to only some cases.

Better to fix the law being exploited that is the root issue.

I honestly don't know. On the one hand it seems wrong to blame someones suicide on someone else just for being a contributing factor to their choice...because it was their choice in the end. If someone's life has really been shredded to the point where they feel as though nothing has value, no matter how bleak it really is, isn't it still that persons own perspective that their life is now not worth living that caused them to follow through?

On the other hand how can you really look at someone driven to such misery and say the person who caused the circumstances they're failing to live with is not to blame?

I can't decide.

Why just accountable in the court of public opinion.?

A number of countries have adopted laws which criminalize bullying because it has led to the suicide of young 'people'. Oh sorry, I mean young girls.

Try using the same laws against the bullying state that obliges greedy women. After all, it is essentially the state, through laws, enforcement agencies and courts, that gives so much power to ex wives. I don't think the odds of succeeding are zero, just that they are in the realm of highly improbable.
