Depends on the girl and on your face and beard type.... but on average it's an increase.

Common sense says
Depending on the girl. If the girl is attracted to facial hair then she might interpret your SMV higher than a girl that doesn't like it.

Depends on a few factors:
Starting facial structure
Beard coverage
Beard texture
For instance, I have a babyface when beardless (I look ~10 years younger than I am). I grew a beard awhile ago, but it was not doing great. The texture was good, but the coverage was lacking. I grew out my mustache more to join it all together and I look fabulous.
Also, beard oil improves beard texture in my case by at least 25-30%. Highly recommend. Get a boar bristle brush also, it helps tremendously with coverage issues.
All in all, I'd estimate my beard increases my SMV by half a point alone.

depends on how nice and full your facial hair is. if it looks like you're trying to make something happen that you were never meant to make happen, its a bit like a fat girl squeezing into tiny clothing

Do women find you more attractive with beard/stubble?

growing a beard is my greatest achievement in masculinity. it started out looking fucking dreadful, patchy and gingerish (i'm dark Italian looking)
i just told myself "the worse the beard the more of a man it takes to wear it" and now i'm so glad i did. just do it for yourself and don't worry about how it affects SMV

I think I get less interest from women with a beard. But I prefer it so fuck 'em.
Guys I've known who dont have a good jaw but can grow a good beard look better with a beard. For guys for whom the opposite is true, it's probably the opposite. If you have both then I guess it depends. You have to find out what works for you just like with anything else.

I've been wondering this for a while and I've decided that it completely depends. Sometimes it gives you that GQ look and is attractive, but if you've got a neckbeard, dress like a hobo, bad complexion etc, it'll look bad and you'll be better off shaving. It totally depends on how you look.

Putting preferences aside, it's about how well groomed you are. If the beard is left unchecked, it's a decrease while if taken care of, it's an increase.

stubble, bad. beard, maybe bad or good depending on grooming. Google the term 'neckbeard' if you want to figure out bad.
