I was at a party a couple of years ago and one lady leaned on the balcony railing (1 floor) to watch a volley ball game in process. I stood there and watched as the railing simply peeled away from the supports.

The good news, she survived and mostly recovered. The bad news, she was seriously injured.

The dumbfounding news - the homeowner's insurance co offered her 1,000 to settle. I make the distinction because the owner of the house wanted to commit bloody murder of his homeowner ins. co.
