So I met someone new over the weekend and exchanged numbers with him. He was in town visiting for business. As the work week has resumed, we've been texting back and forth incessantly. Often, I don't even realize we've been chatting for hours over texts. Conversation flows so easily; he's witty and smart. I haven't had such enjoyable conversations with someone since I don't remember when.

However, I suspect he is married. We'll be texting at night and I suddenly get "Can't talk. Will text later." Usually he texts me early the next morning with some reference to how he just left for work. I could always ask if he's married, but part of me feels like my asking would be pushy. I know his marital status isn't any of my business, as we haven't definitively set plans to go out or meet up.

Oh, and for the record, he's 36. I'm 22.
