Hey ladies (and gentlemen)!

I come to you, understanding what you are about and can relate to much of what is said here, to ask not about the theory but about the practice.

I'm currently a college student studying statistics and quantitative modeling. I'm relatively confident in my choice of study - I like math and it's statistical applications. However, I had a late start on all of this. I'm 22 and I have about 2 years left for my B.B.A. By the time I finish my degree, I will be 24 and will most likely need to pursue some kind of graduate degree, which I would finish by approx. 26. I'm also currently in a relationship with an incredible guy - I respect him immensely.

I suppose that I want to ask how some of you really focus on schoolwork and still make sure that your guy is getting the proper amount of attention/care that he needs/wants/deserves. I essentially have 4 years left of study before I can stop depending on others for money (including him) and I want to make sure that he doesn't feel like his investment isn't worth it (in a certain light), but I'm very scared of taking an even longer time to graduate..

TLDR: it feels like its going to take a very long time until I don't feel like a (financial) burden to this guy and during this time I don't know if I can be there for him whenever he needs me to be. How did you do it?
