When you look at the facts...and put women's power in a geo-political context, you come to the conclusion that men and women should do everything that they can to increase the power of women in the world. Increasing the power of women starts by women and those around them investing in them.

Yes, I'm sure this will make men feel more confident, secure, and inspire them to be gentlemen again.

Ah yes, the value of having a tennis player in your life. She pretty much lost me at this point. I do think it's important that a woman have the opportunity to do what she wants in life, but that doesn't mean you're a failure of a woman if you choose a more traditional role.

I hate the buzzwords "strong women", it get's used a lot, and yet I still have no idea what it's supposed to mean. I asked some feminists what they thought it meant, and I ended up getting a thoroughly p.c "a woman who does what she wants". But if this were the true definition then all women would be strong women, and there would be no need to encourage it in woman. It's circular and all encompassing.

The true definition to me seems to be "a woman who does she wants while working against societal expectations". But then feminists, why is it goal worthy to work against societal expectations? Does that make those of us who don't "weak women"? It contains the supposition that societal expectations are worth working against, but are all expectations inherently bad?
