What? How is it innocuous to flake on planning a date and try to hookup instead?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 10:09 PM
1

That seems specific to your cultural context. In a lot of trad cultures (e.g. many in Asia), women pursue STEM degrees even when the norm is for the woman to ultimately become a SAHM.

More concretely in events with 10 men and 10 women both men and women had a roughly 50% chance of saying "yes" to any given partner, i.e. on average the men and women both wanted to see 5 of the 10 people again. However in events with 20 men and 20 women, the men still had a roughly 50% chance of saying yes, meaning they wanted to on average see 10 of the 20 women again, but the rate of saying yes for the women fell down a cliff to 32.5%, with them just wanting to see on average 6.5 of the 20 me…

Actually the Northern Alliance were fighting the Taliban long before 911. In the north, the US lead forces, had to seek permission to join up with the NA. Operative word is *was*. The Northern Alliance as we knew it no longer exists as a fighting force.

You're unhealthy because your body isn't in good health. You're poor because you're not doing something that anyone is paying you enough for. What other vaccuously true statements should we make?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/21 03:38 AM
6

Northern Alliance? That's like one dude with a few dozen fighters in Panjshir who's gonna negotiate a surrender to the Taliban within a month. It's over. The Taliban won. Now they'll need to manage the economic collapse as the flow of aid stops and banking gets cutoff from international markets. But militarily it's done.

Do the math. If he's earning enough that he can support the lifestyle he wants and still save a large portion of his income, then there is nothing wrong with that and it's not sacrificing financial security.

and all people being better than our animalistic tendencies. What do you think about slut shaming?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 09:49 PM
4

All of us have animalistic origins and tendencies, but we have built society on top of that because we have evolved, we have a prefrontal cortex and we don't have to behave like animals. So it's okay for women to indulge their animalistic desires even if it harms society and women, but you expect men to control their desires if women and society are going to be harmed? Good luck with that.

So please don't encourage the loosening of laws to get your D sucked in the short term because longer term, generations of women might not end up living to their full potential. Well when you put it that way... suddenly it seems like a good deal.

I would say FDS is a lot closer to the female counterpart of MGTOW than the female counterpart of TRP. Like there is some focus on how to get the most out of men and how to get the best men (equivalent to what TRP tries to do for men), but a lot of it is just about reasons to reject pretty much all men or give up on dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 05:10 PM
1

This very much depends on what you're calling "casual sex". Anecdotally, very few young women pursue hookups but many are going for flings / FWBs, with pure attractiveness being the deciding criteria for their choice of partner.

Pretty sure it's every even year, and the slope just happened to be constant in that stretch from 2010 to 2014.

The comments from women in these responses don't really understand the male perspective. They reflect that at least in modern culture, women's choices are solely driven by their own desires (and why shouldn't they be? if they can have casual sex with the hottest guys around when they that's what they want, why should they give that up?) with no concern how it affects men. I suggest you do the same.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:10 PM
1

The only men who could meet that criteria are fuccbois and I get the impression she (and you) wouldn't be into them. Most other watch porn or at least subscribe to insta-thots, and the ones who don't will obviously have anger issues due to sexual frustration.

Every year PPD has a pictures post where guys show how they look like. Invariably what we see is: I think most of those guys are from middle America / the South, where fashionable clothing would be perceived as too metrosexual.

he will rather use him as he sees fit and in whatever fashion so that Nietzschian philosophy would serve him to reach his predetermined goal. I mean, sounds like he's acting rather Nietzschian...

You should still be lifting during a cut to maintain strength, just not the same extent as during a bulk because your calorie deficiency makes it harder for your body to repair muscle.
/r/askTRP03/06/21 04:44 AM
2

Yeah because men never get shamed for objectifying women.
/r/MGTOW01/06/21 04:09 PM

I've also seen fellow software engineers ridicule recruiters for the ways they reach out to them, much as girls ridicule guys who approach them. I consider such sentiments to be examples of poor character - I'm very grateful to be in the position of constantly having job offers and recruiters chasing after me, even if it does result in lots of spam.
/r/MGTOW31/05/21 06:28 PM

That simply suggests they're both leaning towards female-attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 06:14 PM

The lie detector test involves hooking people up to fake lie detectors, and seeing whether their responses are different from a control group that isn't hooked up to anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 04:13 PM
3

This seems like a very roundabout way of placing blame on men for the fact that the average woman is pickier than the average man. Do we have an objective way of assessing which sex is more attractive? I guess you could ask asexual people which sex is more aesthetically pleasing.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 04:12 PM
1

This is just the difference between. men and women. Women are more materialistic, whereas men are more romantic. 90% of men would rather be homeless and have a gf than have a good job but forever alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 07:27 PM
7

Why the fuck don’t you just ask her “hey I feel like we’re communicating less than before we started dating, what’s up?”
/r/ExRedPill29/05/21 05:04 PM

The writers of this article seem to have mixed up "billion" with "million". Half their combined wealth is ~65 billion.

I'll always maintain that FDS is more analogous to MGTOW than to TRP.

It's not just want anti-feminists teach feminists say. It's also how many feminists use the term. It was a poorly formulated phrase that was inevitably going to be misinterpreted and misused, including by most feminists (who aren't necessarily well versed in feminist theory).

It's just porn for women. Men are visual, women are verbal. The scenarios in these romance novels aren't any weirder than the scenarios in porn.

If you don't care about sex just get a best friend. That's what the dead-bedroomed "love devoid of sex" that you seem to want so much is.

Far as the sports are concerned that's a semantic change that would take two seconds which they'd happily make to resolve the matter in accordance with their intent Evidently not, since they haven't made the change.

/r/ExRedPill11/02/21 10:29 AM

Plenty of us see sex as something to do with someone special and want someone for whom it is similarly special. The only difference is that outside of TRP, men are stigmatized for being honest about how they feel about a woman's past.

Having to work with them provides a pretty representative sample of senior FAANG engineers. My social bubble from outside of work obviously skews more social (including senior engineers I'm friends with).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 07:26 PM
1

Sure, but either way, you're not noticing the majority of L5+ FAANG dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 07:18 PM

Then you're really selective about which ones you get to know.

Rock climbing and hitting the gym doesn't make a guy normie.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 08:21 AM

That's not true. The average FAANG L5 engineer is not some dude with frat party social skills. He's definitely still spergier than the average normie.

Studies tend to be iffy. But this would make more sense than previous papers - alpha fuxx matters more when beta buxx is no longer needed.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/20 06:38 AM

Not wanting to have sex with a particular man is basically saying, evolutionarily speaking, that you don't find the man worthy of reproducing with.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/20 04:50 AM

I feel like a chick really finds me hot when she makes me wait 10 to 15 dates before we fuck. Looks like some of the replies think you're being serious. Can't blame them - there are blue pill cucks who actually say things like that lol.

Otoh, SoCal has much earlier marriages than other west coast (or northeast) cities.
/r/ExRedPill21/12/20 08:57 PM
2

That guy made a business out of international marriages between Ukrainian women and Chinese men, so it's not completely a one-off. More generally though, racism's effects on the dating effect are sometimes overcome by e.g. being a rare / niche commodity, or being in a culture that values beta provider traits more. Look at how, for example, Indian men often tend to do better dating-wise in much more racist parts of the US than in liberal areas. P.s. it's called Artsakh.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/20 09:11 PM
3

Furthermore, despite the very silly moral panic about racism we have here in the States it’s nothing compared to Eastern Europe, where they will constantly be reminded that they’re outsiders. That region of the world is ferociously nationalistic, which even a cursory glance at history will illustrate. Sure, but I'm not sure the racism has the same effect on e.g. romantic success. I'm reminded of that viral story of the Chinese dude in Ukraine https://www.chinasmack.com/chinese-mans-life-with-bea…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/20 07:44 PM
1

They won't. It's like E.L. James - she's a crappy author but that doesn't mean most women (or men) would be able to strike gold with a viral story like she did.
/r/TheRedPill20/12/20 04:01 AM
1

Aella is hardly your average OnlyFans girl. She had already built a very popular following after the nudes with a funny story she posted on reddit. She's going to be way more successful than most 9/10s or 10/10s on OnlyFans.
/r/TheRedPill20/12/20 03:53 AM

She's redistributing his money to herself.

parent-teacher conferences, days off school, time spent overseeing homework and making sure they have X supply for a school project, etc. This is why I'd homeschool.

A good number of high earning jobs do not involve coasting or work life balance So? That is just an argument for why she should be the SAHW. I have no idea what you mean by high earning. I mean high earning differs from person to person - I'd want it to be like 200k minimum.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 07:32 PM
1

If she's not lifting the burden of doing the chores? Yup.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 07:27 PM

I pick based on pay. If she picks something she enjoys then she should make up for it with more housework.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 07:26 PM

You choose a high earning job with good work life balance and then coast in it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 07:25 PM

She should have studied harder and worked harder earlier to get a higher income then. And not gone for a job she liked but a job that actually pays well.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 12:29 PM
0

Yes exactly I get the same response. If I'm earning 300k and she's earning only 100k she should be doing 75% of the housework etc. It's only fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 12:28 PM
3

In Silicon Valley they'd be looking at buying what like a $2.5 million house, so just saving up for the house alone would take up most of the post-tax savings, if they don't do well in investing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 12:26 PM
3

I don't want a wife who considers a career so important that forgoing it is considered a "sacrifice". Yes I'd be happy to marry someone who is able to bring in the money to let me be the stay-at-home spouse, but I would still expect her to put family first, not career. That's what I intend to do assuming I'm the working high income spouse.

Because they want to? Aella Girl is a perfect example - she enjoys being a sex worker and does sex work for that reason. She also has incredibly specific tastes in a partner, and is single as a result. (Also, she's not a gorgeous woman - she's somewhat plain but makes up for it in personality to be a highly successful sex worker)

When I was graduating college even my peers with 3.0 (average grades) were easily finding six figure entry level jobs. But like I said there is probably an overflow of CS grads now driving the median down. Yeah, that's definitely not the case anymore (at least for non-Ivy league students).
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 05:02 AM

Not to mention the suburbs aren't exactly known for their dating scene.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:57 AM

Maybe we have different definitions of "average". I'd consider those companies code monkey tier. Granted I have heard the quality of software engs is going down these days due to an influx of kids taking CS & coding bootcamps. By average I mean "median CS grad". Most are code monkeys. You need at least a STEM degree otherwise it's nearly impossible. I know like one person who made it a unicorn startup with a totally unrelated degree. Math and chemistry are STEM, and reasonably gender balanced.…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:55 AM

Then they're being dumb. Your cashflow is just fine after putting 10% of the massive doctor / dentist income into income-based repayment.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:38 AM
2

The average CS grad isn't working in unicorn startups - they're working at the IBMs, Oracles, and Adobes of the world. And you can work at a unicorn startup without needing a CS degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:18 AM
1

Why would you want to declare bankruptcy? I don't think you understand how income-based repayment works. You can keep paying 10% of your income indefinitely until they let you stop paying.

MD, dentistry on the coast get you to 200k on the low end, and often into the mid six figures. You won't get near that as an average CS grad. And if you're smart enough to work for a FANG or top startup then skip the CS major, do something that gets you women, and then get into software engineering.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 03:28 AM

Home listings drop off big time after August / September. They pick back up in the spring. That said, at least in a normal non-pandemic year, you generally get an opportunity to buy houses at a discount if you do happen to find a good one in December or January, as there tend to be even fewer home buyers left than home sellers.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/20 12:40 AM

Wouldn't you get to know the child and make your determinations slowly in the process about raising saod child? No. Bad enough to raise a kid who isn't mine, but a rapist's kid? Hell no.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/20 11:50 PM
5

But raising a cheating abandoned child is okay?? Not necessarily. But there is a huge degree of difference between rape and spousal abandonment. It's not any reflection on the child what their father did. How the child is raised and if you respect their mother are better indicators of whether or not raising a child is worth it. Are you one of those creationists who doesn't understand how biological paternity works?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/20 11:34 PM

On average, there is clearly more competition between men for mates, and women are clearly choosier. However, that doesn't make it MCFC; it's still mutual mate choice (MMC), just one side choosing way more than the other. RP doesn't hold the MCFC model to be true though, e.g. RP emphasizes how much highly attractive men are selective in who they commit to.

Do men have genuine reason to be fed up with dating? Yes. Do women have genuine reason to be upset with dating? No. Are people's standards too high? Not if lowering their standards would make them unhappier. Or does it come down to a lack of communication between people dating? Lack of communication is a choice.

That isn't being "into traveling" for the sake of traveling.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/19 08:28 PM

Are those the same men? I certainly hate the whole women being into travel cliche. Most women who're into travel seem to be doing it out of pure wanderlust / experience-seeking which is not my cup of tea, and traveling is a particularly expensive and cliche way to do it. If a woman actually saw artifacts in South America and could talk intelligently about them to me that would be awesome. But with most such women if you start talking about cultural or historical details their eyes glaze over. As…

We never hear the end of how women need to use the young fertile pretty years to lock down the top man they can get. Yeah, but the men saying this incorrectly assume locking down the best possible man would be women's highest priority. In reality, settling down, and getting the best possible long term mate, is a minor priority to today's commitment-averse women.

Note that under the stable marriage problem theorem, men under this system get pareto optimality and women do not. So it's slightly in favor of men. Though when you consider the fact that women care about being wanted by the man, what's pareto optimal for men is probably preferable for women.

I don't think femininity vs. masculinity is particularly correlated with class. While lower class women can be "ratchet", umc women can be strong independent ballbusters. Nevertheless, I agree with this. E.g. I could probably get a way hotter lower class girl (e.g. random latina) than someone of my own class. However, she wouldn't have the brains, interests, or behavior to be compatible with me. She'd essentially be just a sex toy to me, and I'm too romantic to find that appealing.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/19 04:03 AM

Absolutely. I think it would be worth going through periods for all the perks of being a woman. Being a straight woman seems far preferable to being a straight dude (straight dudes have to deal with the women-centric SMP) or a gay dude (biological reproduction is difficult for gay dudes). And other things in life are better for women too; women get taken care of a lot.

Infidelity is not a crime and there are no consequences for the single woman who helps a married man cheat and she owes no duty to the wife and all you're saying is other people will think poorly of her, well if she doesn't care then so what? She could have civil liability though for alienation of affections.

Sex ratio at birth is not 1:1 - there are like 103 boys for every 100 girls born. On top of that, immigration skews rather male, and there tends to be 1-2 year age difference on average between men and women which increases the relative proportion of males in the dating pool especially since we are on the shrinking side of the population pyramid, and the age of consent limit creates a hard lower bound (e.g. comparable dating pools would be 18-35 yo women and 18-40 yo men). On top of that, you ha…

Funny, I would have called this a major RP tenet: >Guys with no career prospects (who you'd define as losers) can sometimes be the biggest womanisers. That unemployed good looking party boy that sells/does ecstasy actually has more SMV than an investment banker that banks tonnes of money but still isn't attractive to women. You're right though. TRP seems to have weirdly focused on lifting, stem careers, etc., even the that is the opposite of what RP bloggers like Heartiste and Rollo advocate…

In my industry (software engineering), shy men will still go out of their comfort zone and ask for help / mentorship / friendly interaction if they want it. Shy women generally just won't. I'll find out weeks or months after they join my team that they were just too shy to ask for what they want. Meanwhile all this time I'd been thinking they just wanted to be left alone to do their work. I wouldn't say they "expect" mentorship to be handed to them though. They just don't know how to ask for it …

I don't have a problem with equality for women in the abstract. My problem is with what happens in actuality where women decide to hold on to all their social privileges (as well as legal privileges like child support) while demanding equality where convenient. That said, yes, I'm fully prepared (both in willingness and ability) to be an old school patriarch.

Real world. Most of the guys I see online are either too young to know (like me) and just parroting what they've read, or older men who have gone through really bad divorces, so I don't really put too much stock in what they say. In real life, it's mostly men who are married, often with kids, and unlikely to get divorced for the forseeable future.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/18 10:55 PM

That is so weird. Must be some backwards place like rural Bihar. For most Indians, education adds to MMV for both sexes, at least when it comes to arranged marriages (obviously for non-arranged marriages people will tend to go for chadpreet / stacypriya respectively).

You seem to be completely missing the point of the OP. It's not just that they're branch-swinging, which is normal when young and dating, but that there is an obvious pattern of girls preferring more "alpha" guys. Which rings very true with AF/BB, considering that the girls around him will be too young to be in the BB phase.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/18 10:16 PM

Well, every older man I meet seems to tell me not to make the same mistakes he made, and to not get married... That doesn't bode well for how I'll feel about being married 20-30 years from now. I'll still get married, because I want children, but I'm not exactly gonna go in with high expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/18 10:03 PM
1

Yes, there we go. People spend a lot on childcare equivalent to a SAHM, even in low wage locations. It's obviously much more expensive in my area. I talk to people and do know how much they're spending on childcare. It's basically always roughly breaking even, and the husband is still pitching in for cooking and stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/18 11:26 PM
1

Yeah, exactly what I said. You break even while the kids are little. You didn’t even look at my links, the live in nanny is 35k. You get a part time maid too. Yes, I'm assuming that due to higher wages here, live-in nanny + part time maid comes out to 1k a week, instead of 800 a week nationally. You are comparing against a 40 year, high paying career though. Breaking even for a few years still means neither of you is washing poopy diapers. Most women will take a huge career hit taking 5 or ten y…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/18 11:18 PM
1

Since wages are higher here, that would likely be more, but let's assume a thousand a week is doable with a live-in nanny. That's 52k per year. Add in payroll taxes (11%) and you get to 57k per year. Now you've got another mouth to feed, so another 5k per year, getting to 62k. I don't know if healthcare is expected; if so, you get to 65k per year. Now, before taxes, we're looking at a salary of around 110k required for the wife to break even. Note that after school doesn't really make any differ…

You're not factoring in taxes, which will marginally be almost 50% of her income (because my income will bump her into a high tax bracket). Example: My friend's wife is a Stanford professor. He complains that child-care isn't tax-deductible, since almost all of his wife's after-tax income goes into child care. They have one kid.

No, it's the most reasonable statistical prior, but not the most reasonable assumption given the information we have. We have information about her weight, and the fact that a guy who likes skinny blondes was once attracted to her. This skews the Bayesian probabilities to suggest something taller than average is most probable.

Perhaps women judge as critically, but men mostly don't (though a large part of this is due to the much stronger male sex drive and general male ignorance on how much of an influence cosmetics have on a female's attractiveness). In that case she should either get a higher paying job, or consider quitting the job and doing all the housework, since the value of her housework is higher than the value of her working (because if she works, the husband has to do some of the housework and his time is more valuable for doing a paid job).

She should do do more of the housework, childrearing, etc. to make up for her decreased contributions to expenditures an savings. P.S. that is way too much savings. 200k expenditures, 100k savings would be more realistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 06:13 AM

Also, many people prefer the 'equal portions of paycheck' strategy, where we each might put 50% of our paycheck to a joints account, regardless of who makes more. That's somewhat more equitable than just pooling everything, but still not that fair. Like if she is earning 75k and I'm earning 300k, it doesn't make sense for us to contribute proportionally to household expenses, unless she is doing 80% of the housework and stuff.

I mean doing something you want and paying for your spouse to participate with you is definitely personal discretionary spending.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 05:56 AM

That would fall under personal spending since I get the personal benefit of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 05:04 AM

Good argument.

It's not my fault if women spend more money than they should on their appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 04:54 AM

That's freeloading. She better earn the money by doing the housework etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 04:42 AM

No, usually they put all their money into a household pool and everyone gets to spend from it. Allows freeloading off off the spouse's income.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 04:34 AM

That doesn't necessarily require being career focused. I'm gonna have a high income in a few years, but I won't be working very hard.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:43 AM

Would you financially support a woman who focused on the kids? What if you decided to abandon her? Then what? Alimony and child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:40 AM

You can probably get it down to $1k per month rent by upping the number of bedrooms (e.g. 3 bedroom house with 3 roommates). Or find a guy and move into a studio with him and split the rent lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:38 AM

Anecdotal but in my immediate circle, only a very small percentage of my female friends don't have a career. Having a job =/= being career focused.

Nah, you won't find women in SV.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:34 AM

With LA minimum wage you'd be getting almost $2k a month after taxes. How can you not afford $300 a month for beauty?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:30 AM

Are you certain? What is your recipie for a winning female? Work out, use a bit of makeup, be nice, don't be lazy. Also, being proactive about flirting with guys will really help. I gather rp requires financial independence but none of the hard edged assertiveness that is required for women to get ahead in corporate America. Exactly. Career-chasing women try to get ahead in corporate America, instead of just trying to have a decent paying job.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:25 AM

And how much will that all cost per month for reasonable work? $300 per month? Not really a big amount.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/17 03:23 AM

I don't think I talked about this in either of my other posts, but it's the low income high effort careers that I dislike the most in women. All these women everywhere chasing self-actualizing careers with mediocre income while laden with student debt. If she has a low-effort job with a good income, that's perfectly fine.

Not care about nice things? Shut your @&$&% mouth lol. I come very humble beginnings and was always like this. My parents still ask me how I ended up this way, why I pay so much for rent, etc. I just like it. So I worked hard to be able to do it. I don't mention it to men and don't expect anyone to have anything. Many of the men I work with make great money but that doesn't speak to their personalities. Unless they are full of themselves. Aren’t you rp men forcing women to chase careers so that you aren’t “rooked” into spending any money on them? Or they could just, you know, have a normal job. How can they be beautiful, yielding and sweet if they have to go to super cuts to get their hair done and clip coupons for Ultra Purex detergent? Looking good isn't that costly. Exercising is free. Eating less food actually saves money. Also, there is a difference between having a job and chasing a career.

Career women are bad? Why? I mean if you just want sex, they're great. But if you want a relationship, spending time together, etc., or marriage and kids, then career-chasing women aren't so good because they're so focused on their career. But gold diggers...they are also bad? Well, I disagree with TRP here somewhat and personally I don't think gold diggers are all that bad, as long as they are the "I want a rich guy" kind, not the "I want to divorce a rich guy" or "I want a rich guy to support …

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/17 04:40 AM

u/darkmoon09 is being stupid. It does happen and it's just as crappy when a man does this to a woman as when a woman gives less sexually to her beta bucks than she gave to previous dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/17 04:24 AM
2

I have seen this come up before but it usually goes like this. Women do a certain sex act with previous partners. She meets future husband, and all throughout courtship and early marriage, the guy never asks for or brings up certain sex act. Then when marriage gets a bit stale, and one way or another the husband finds out the wife participated is certain sex act and then all of a sudden he wants it. This is why you should demand everything at the start of the relationship. Who knows what she has…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/17 04:18 AM
2

why are you letting the woman set the sexual pace of the relationship? if anal fisting threeways are a big deal to you, then it's on you to set the precedent for them at the start of the relationship. That's the whole point. The red pill thing to do is to set the precedent as freaky as possible to make sure she isn't AFBBing you.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/17 07:01 PM

I'm not sure about that. With the current campaign, what women are complaining about is much more extreme than the innocuous unwanted attention they ordinarily complain about. So it's possible that this might actually serve to make clear the difference between actual sexual harassment/assault and normal behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/17 06:11 PM

They weren't colleagues, just a fellow comedian. From what I can tell the problem was that when he did ask, all the women quite reasonably assumed he was joking. When one woman actually said no, he respected her response.

Romance and commitment diminished when they heard that there could be either a high or low risk of a break-up. When participants were told that there was only a moderate chance the relationship would end, commitment was stronger. Makes sense. Use moderate dread to show that there is a possibility of breakup, but not so much dread that she gives up because she thinks you're unlikely to not breakup.

I'd disagree about that historically, but it doesn't really matter. If that has always been the case, it merely makes RP relevant to all time periods rather than only applicative to current society.

Many people at high tech companies for example do not have traditional programming backwards. Steve Jobs had a 2.6 GPA in high school. Background and GPA are not the same thing as IQ. And Steve Jobs wasn't a Software Engineer.

The male one incorporates IQ as an important element; the higher your IQ, the more points toward your SMV you get. The female one does not incorporate IQ as an important element; in fact, past a certain cut-off, it actually detracts points as IQ rises. (I can't remember how high this cut-off was, though.) Huh. It should have a cutoff beyond which it detracts for males too. Maybe the cutoff will be higher than for females, but it still needs a cutoff. Even if you grant the (crazy) idea from those…

This is correct. "Alpha" and "beta" are the RP terms for what are known in evo psych as "cads" and "dads" respectively. You're focusing on the fact that the beta strategy yields better offspring (which the red pill agrees on). What red pillers care about, though, is that extended adolescence, female financial independence and empowerment culture, birth control, and the loosening of sexual mores all result in alphas getting better rewarded sexually than betas.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/17 12:37 AM

If he has to "pester" for sex he should probably end the relationship anyway. Maybe he has kids. Maybe he is beta. Why end the relationship when he can use VR porn instead? PS. Fuck off with the property tax bullshit, mine are high enough. Don't have to raise property taxes. It will be payed for by the increase in property tax receipts due to the greater property values that it creates (since property tax is proportional to property value). From the female perspective, the best sexual strategy is to lie. Obviously the male doesn't want to be lied to, so he'll rightly get mad if he finds out. There is nothing contradictory about that. If anything, what surprises me is that TRP doesn't advise men to lie more often (e.g. by pretending to be exclusive with various plates - something which I've seen individual field reports do, but seems to generally be very frowned upon by the TRP community at large). Guess that pesky male honor gets i…

Maybe I should have put "strong and independent" in quotes. I'm talking about modern women who view equality as being a lack of division of labor (e.g. the man is an "equal partner" in housework, childrearing, and the notorious "emotional labor"), focus on having careers, and in many cases are sexually empowered (i.e. don't want to be judged as a prospective partner for being unchaste). And I have nothing against these types of women - I just expect them to be serious about equlity, hence I'd wa…

Part of what I'm looking for in a partner is the open, intellectual mind that a formal education teaches you. If you needed a formal education to teach that, you don't have a very open, intellectual mind. To be sure, I do think most blue collar men will not have open, intellectual minds. But that's because men with open, intellecutal minds will tend to choose to go get degrees. The degrees don't grant them the open, intellectual minds - they had them from the start.

I met this really nice guy at the bar. The chemistry was instant. He was funny, charming, and had a killer smile. We talked about our lives for a bit, joking around. We then went back to his place to watch a movie and have a few drinks. One thing led to another, and we ended up having really wild sex. It was a lot of fun and I hope we see each other again. Witness the passive voice and total lack of female agency.

mostly children in proportion to sex drive. Eh? It's the women using contraception... Not that I blame them, it's understandable to me that women wouldn't want to go through a dozen childbirths.

It depends whether you're measuring the divorce rate relative to the total population (I've seen liberals do this so they can claim that divorce rates are lower in blue states) or relative to the marriage rate.

Yes if you don't count whores (which were a little more easily accessible before the criminalization of prostitution). Not on Tinder, though. The kind of success you got on Tinder only happens in a favorable city. You're probably in a place like NYC.

I don't think anyone believes that, except maybe teenaged TRPers who don't grok nuance. The important point is that the criminalization of marital rape is emblematic of a larger phenomenon - the attitude that expecting sex in a relationship is "entitlement" and the stigmatization of male sexual assertiveness.

That's not all masculinity. That's just the masculinity of a young male who doesn't own a woman. Patriarchal dads don't behave like that.

By your logic heterosexuality is hypocritical. If you are a man, not a woman, isn't it hypocritical to insist on only having sex with a woman? Why demand that your sexual partner be a woman when you yourself don't meet that criteria?

No I think you're missing my point. Let us say in a normal society you have 10 men and 10 women. And 6 of those women go for the top 2 men. Now you only have 4 monogamous women for the other 8 men, which sucks for them. On the other hand let's say you have 10 men and 20 women. And 12 of those women go for the top 2 men. Now you have 8 monogamous women left for the remaining 8 men. Things work out better this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/17 03:44 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/17 03:39 AM
