OP actually did good with the "Well fuck you too" cause then the better looking girl apologizes. But then OP is too mad to recover. Amused Mastery, Agree and Amplify, they are your friends.

Okay skipper I think you did your best, nothing wrong here. But let's explore a different avenue you could have explored. It's important to preface that there is never a right answer, you have to make your own 'right' answers to everything in life.

I'm 24 so not much older than you but i've started to look at things differently the last few years of my life. My bottom line goal with any woman that i'm attracted is to (for decencies sake) "win" her as I would a trophy or a job. So in the same situation but with the adequate age differentials if the terms were that a fat and decent chick pulled this snobbery on me I would have initially reacted to this in the exact same way you did. This was a natural human response and you can't or even shouldn't try and change your natural impulses.

**On the second reaction after you made them feel like shit you had a choice to make. I would have milked that for what it's worth, calmly ask them why they were so rude, and maybe shamed them by asking if they were always this mean to strangers. Then accepted the apologies and begin to ask the decent one some small talk questions and left amicably looking cool as shit, hopefully with her number. "Your not not normally like this? I'd like to see how you really are then".

They say you can only control how you respond, but I think don't you need to think of the best response for every rebuttal. If you have a clear intention of getting with one of them you can start to gear your responses to fit the bill. Anyway i'm getting to much into theoretical territory, hope I helped.

and the other thing is, nothing that anyone can say should make you feel bad, or belittled. you need to be much much bigger and stronger than anything like this.

your story reads like this: "some people said something, i feel bad".

it should read: "some people said something, doesnt matter what it was, i dont care, and i went home, studied and did some exercise".
