What are you going to do once you have your emotions off your chest. What besides meditation? How are you going to change afterward? What is your plan?

I know like all girls, talking about my emotions really helps.

This is only true up to a point. It can help to vent when your emotions are strong as a way to help them calm down so you can think more clearly. It can help you process and get a better handle on the overall situation.

That said - talking about emotions aimlessly won't help. Coming up with solutions, and changing your behavior will.

From what I've talked to my SO about, I make stupid mistakes because I am afraid of making mistakes in the first place. He says a lot of people do this and that they feel safe by being stupid.
