Finally ended things with my FWB

This is why I am opposed to "fwb" arrangements. I get downvited to hell when I explain, so I don't bother anymore.

Things can get messy with fwbs. You should’ve discussed the relationship back when he first started holding your hand and established proper boundaries.

Forget this guy. He has other things going on in his life. Not to mention the fact that he sent you nudes and blocked you when you reacted? Wtf? LVM.

You have done the right thing by ending it. Well done, that took strength. Don’t beat yourself up for not doing it in the beginning, it’s been a difficult year and it’s always easier to say what we should’ve done when we’re looking back.

I’m glad you’re going to therapy, I hope it helps while you get your feelings for him out of your system (which you will, you won’t always feel like this).

I also recently found out that FWB isn’t for me, it’s a shame because in theory, it’s an ideal way to get our physical needs met while we are not interested in a relationship. It didn’t work out that way for me. It was meant to be fun and drama free, it was neither.

If he was really a decent and respectful man, the second you told him you were only looking for FWB, he would have responded "Okay, we're clearly looking for different things, wish you all the best" and cut all contact with you.

Good men don't do what he did.
