OP PLEASE - If you are going to the military, take attention:

DO NOT BUY A FUCKING JEEP SOON AS YOU'RE PAID. If you need a vehicle, get a reliable cheap beater. Get a kind of "classic", have it cleaned properly. You can claim old memories and connection to that model (fucking lie if needed) so as not to be judged, and can even make good talk to get laid.

DO NOT GET MARRIED. There are women whose life is to snag an idiot off base, get him signed up, live off him, divorce and get out with all his shit.

Please read about it online. I am a foreigner and even I have heard of this institution of traps designed to rip all the money and life off a new recruit. Young recruits have a terrible combination of young, confident, aggressive and new money that is just begging to be taken advantage of.

Never admit to anything

If you notice that’s she’s more receptive to you that’s the #1 sign, so far so good. If she’s expressed that’s she’s single that’s #2 BUT if you two often talk about each other’s partners that might be strike 1 and 2 :/. I’d just play it smooth but also idk how much time you have left. You could say something along the lines of “will you miss me when I’m gone” in a joking manner. Based on her reaction you could escalate it from there .
