I'm 42 and for 29 years I've been active in dating and I've never been one for throwaway sex -- mostly because even as an ugly teen, sex was still available and abundant enough that I could focus on choosing better quality women.

That being said, spinning plates doesn't have to be casual at all.

I like condoms and don't go bareback ever. My livelihood and future is too important to me to worry.

Most guys who hate condoms haven't found a condom they like. I tried probably 50 different condom brands and styles before I found the perfect fit -- and condom styles may be different sizes depending on country/market, too.

Not per se, but I've been successful enough for long enough that my tolerance for bullshit is much lower. For example, I won't wait in line to go to loud nightclubs just because I'm desperate to get some strange. I don't jump through hoops to get sex because I know it isn't necessary.

Once you have satisfied the urge to self-validate through sexual partners, your priorities shift towards chilling out and self improvement.

I haven't moved out per say because I never had the casual phase because I don't have abundance of women. I am a LTR type of dude because I enjoy the comfort of the same person but I might just be deluding myself because I don't have options (I don't think it's the case and I genuinely believe I'd be happier with a good LTR but I won't be able to say until I've experienced abundance).

Finding a suitable LTR is going to be a long battle though it seems and frankly I want to be casual now until I have a certain level of abundance before I consider a LTR again... but the end goal is definitely a good LTR.

I've always been that way. Rather just rub one out then deal with sluts and drama. Hate the rubbers too, but you can just pull out and wrap up with sketchy chicks. Good for you man, focus on your life.
