Man tries to win his wife's love by giving her Teslas and expensive vacations. She returns the favor by - you guessed it - having an orgy with randos when he's gone.

Once again, AskWomen accidentally confirms TRP. "When I see a tall guy, like over 6'3, my vagina automatically flexes and gets wet. I'm not even exaggerating."

Another Red Pill lesson in a comic strip: Fredo and Pidjin: http://www.pidjin.net/2011/12/12/sex-bomb/

[–]pillpapa 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Laughed out loud at one of the comments.

"can't believe I wasted 30 years of my life not understanding this"

[–]Kukenan 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So did I (laughed and wasted 30+ years)!

[–]BreesorFoster 2 points2 points2 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm a bit confused. He blatantly says he doesn't help women and then when they offer sex, then he does?

So basically the guy on the left only helps when he's guarenteed something in return while the right guy is hoping for something in return when he helps a woman?

[–]ICareBecauseUDo 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's a demonstration of Briffault's Law, but instead of 'fighting' you are just 'saving' them. And by saving them, meaning doing something you do awesome anyways, and dangling it like the carrot they make sex into.

If they 'want' it and you have it, they may find it somewhere else. But, if they think they 'need' it, and you are the one that 'Has' it, then they are yours.

P.S. This also works a lot better if banging you isn't unpleasant because you are a C.H.U.D.

[–]2Overkillengine 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Pretty much.

The one on the right is an example of appeasement behavior. This is bad because it sets a precedent of you offering something for hope of something yet getting nothing. It is bargaining from an implied position of weakness.

The one on the left is an example of only rewarding desired behavior after it has occurred. Even if the desired behavior does not occur, it is still a superior approach because it means at minimum you did not have any wasted effort or resources and did not set a bad precedent.

The skinny bird has set himself up to be "That guy" when it comes to fixing their bullshit. That's all they expect from him after doing it for so long is what I took from it.

[–]JonnyBeanBag 104 points105 points106 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Impressive frame control by a 2D comic book character. Well done Dilbert, well done.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points42 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Much easier to control frame when it's a square.

[–]TheOpposingView33 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

I bet he gets tons of shit for that one.

[–]chakravanti93 38 points39 points40 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

*Got.

That strip is over a decade old. Dude has been systematically desyndicated by feminists for expressing red pill truths.

Easily our own personal comic Jesus, if you will.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yet, everyone still loves Dilbert. A good 50% of offices cubicles at work have some Dilbert material in them. Including mine.

[–]chakravanti93 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've done enough office janitorial to say with confidence that you are significantly more than.you think.

Scott Adams is pretty Red Pill, and if you read his books he has a pretty low opinion of women in the corporate world. He agrees with us that for the most part they are there to socialize and gossip.

He also understands a number of other RP principles.

[–]dvrzero 75 points75 points75 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

scott adams has a low opinion of every human in the corporate world.

Having worked in corporate america, i agree with him.

I remember admiring the guts of this guy who turned down $300k golden handcuffs to pursue a startup (Github):

http://tom.preston-werner.com/2008/10/18/how-i-turned-down-300k.html

While Github has recently been the center of a feminist shitstorm, it has also recently raised $100 million dollars of investment.

You apply elsewhere and interview. Negotiate wages. When you get the offer you tell your employer. Then you figure out if the pay bump is worth it.

For me, I turned down a $35k a year pay bump because I'd have to wear a tie. I hate ties. Actually it was only $35k after my current employer counter offered. You can work the system in reverse. I get job offers all over the country (LA, Bay area, Plano/Dallas, Boston, Georgia, new York) but I am not willing to move (for what they're paying!) If I wanted to move, then I'd have no excuse, would I?

Horse shit. If you're entrenched (as in they won't promote you because they need you where you are - you know like the thing we are talking about) then you won't suffer at all. There is no risk. The only risks are psychological and that's only because of your first paragraph of nonsense.

You're either replaceable or you aren't. You can't argue both sides.

[–]dvrzero 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And you'd put up with that shit for 8%?

Seriously - fucking wake up, man.

If your job is in such precarious balance that the very idea you might leave is enough to get you shitcanned or otherwise fucked with...

Fuck your job. You can get 4% easily at a credit union. Making another 4% is probably a better endgame if you value your fucking sanity.

Corporations fuck with your head so they can save money. My comments don't apply if you, yourself are a replaceable employee.

Be a doer. Not a me-tooer.

unless we're talking $125,000 a year salary we're talking about different things.

I'd like to think the people in here aren't uneducated, married with children, and child support.

[–]colovick1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You seem to be sucked into the corporate koolaid cutting competition, so let my try explaining some things... No one has job security. Period. The only thing you can call job security is your ability to find another job if they tell you to pack your shit and leave in the morning. Anything past that is an illusion and putting blind faith in the CEO of wherever you work.

Also 8% matching on a 401k is nice, but that should be half your portfolio period, and once you're vested in that match, you can roll it over to wherever you go next, so you're not losing some massive amount of money by leaving.

[–]199639 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You risk being viewed as someone that isn't a team player

It isn't 1960 anymore. Companies have zero loyalty to employees, so don't fuck yourself by pretending they do and trying to earn it.

[–]ohsweetword 21 points21 points21 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Men have to pick up the slack for women who get jobs to fill quotas and aren't really qualified. Sad truth.

Not that there aren't lazy men too, but it is what it is. I would love to work with only men.

[–]bam2_89 24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

When I worked retail management, my plan to make our store more productive involved subtly not hiring any women under 25. The plan's biggest supporters were women over 40 who knew better.

I implemented it on my own without making it look obvious and tardiness and absenteeism plummeted. That's just what I saw on the surface, but I'm sure it made us much more cohesive.

[+]soulmatter -9 points-8 points-7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Also those women over 40 would be divorced by that time and wouldn't want any competition.

[–]bam2_89 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When I say over 40, I mean way over 40. They weren't playing in the same league.

[–]RedPillington 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

you could also make a joke about almost anything at all, and not lose your job.

[–]Dousing_Machine 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

This exists, construction is a very liberating workplace

[–]TheSKSpecial 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Construction, firefighting, oil drilling...pretty much any field that is majority male has that freedom.

[–]LinkenSphere1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

one of the reasons i am studying to become an oil engineer, that environment toughens you up. it also increases your SMV which doesn't hurt at all.

[–]chakravanti93 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's not just women. Guy predicted cable and telecoms duking it out to their own mutual destruction and stagnation of technological development and why.

He wrote a good book worth reading.

[–]stoned_mongoose 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Could I bother you for the name? I have watched the entire animated series and read many web comics but have never heard of a book?

[–]chakravanti93 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He wrote several. The one in particular I'm talking about is called, "the dilbert future."

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Scott Adams was red pill before TRP existed. This is one of my favorite articles by him... pegs and holes

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

society has evolved to keep males in a state of continuous unfulfilled urges, more commonly known as unhappiness

Wow, that sentence blew me away. I have never heard life described so succinctly.

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The whole article blew me away. It's rare to see someone more prominent speak his mind like that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It made the rounds on jezebel back then, which was a lot less militant than it is today. I can only imagine the furor if this was a recent post

[–]haterandhypocrite 25 points26 points27 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Just an aside: that might be the ugliest URL I've ever seen.

I post this about 4 weeks ago: Nothing. You repost: Front page.

It is times like these why I remind myself to drink.

[–]carrotplanter 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I can imagine how much it hurt to see someone else getting more imaginary internet points than you

[–]Senior Contributorexit_sandman 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And yet another Dilbert strip: http://dilbert.com/strips/comic/1994-05-31/

[+]largeapple-34 points-33 points-32 points 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I've just been lurking since I found TRP a few months ago, but does this really belong in the sub? This creates no discussion and is just bullshit filler "content" that does nothing to promote improvement. What am I supposed to take from this and why do I give a fuck about a comic strip?

[–][deleted] 27 points28 points29 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not every life lesson has to be long-winded.

[–]ohsweetword28 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Here is a lesson: relax. Being an asshole doesn't make you Alpha.

[–]RedPillington 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Probably should be posted to /r/trpofftopic

[–]Yelvy 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Or one of the others, there are so many.

[–]Ferinex 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're on point. Without some kind of analysis or discussion of the principles presented, this post is off topic
