What do you mean by clingy?

For example I'm going crazy when my girl texts me, I reply and she doesn't reply back for hours. I guess I'm needy as well but she might be taking the piss on me.

Edit: I didn't mention her that this behavior annoys me yet

You need to lead, you should be bringing them into your world... not trying to get into theirs.

Get more social hobbies, improve on them.

In my experience (I'm new to this so I'm not really entitled to say this but) the more women I have to deal with, the less I'm worried about becoming clingy with one of them. As Pook and Tomassi would say, it's all about abundance mentality. This should solve most of the "clinginess" that you're experiencing right now.
