If you're in your early-30s and you want kids, how bad of an idea is it to date a girl your own age?

You can make a girl your own age a plate but you should never upgrade them to a LTR, Marry them or have kids with them.

First off if you ARE looking for offspring every year past the age of 25 the risk of birth defects and other complications increase. At the point where most women start thinking about having a baby (30-35) the chances are already getting high enough that it's a bad bet. Do you want to be stuck with a retard as a kid for the rest of your life?

Second women want older more established men. So if a 24 year old chick wants a baby in a year or two then that's ideal assuming she's not completely fucking insane and you are a strong alpha male type.

Third as others have said there are plenty of other benefits to younger women as well. No need to repeat everything they've said.

REALLY bad. More baggage, higher counts, more jaded, more debt, hitting the wall, menopause approaching sooner, dressing up the goods so they look better than they are at her age, more exes to contact, etc.

Sounds like you're trying to hamster this one.

A couple reasons to prefer a 24 y/o over a 34 y/o:

10 extra years of youth. You age like wine, won't you prefer a 34 y/o when you're 44?
10 extra years that you can groome her for LTR material
Likewise, 10 less years of her riding the CC, negatively affecting her ability to pair bond
Younger = more fertile. May be a nonissue

Bad. She's past her fertility curve peak. You want a 20-something. 30-somethings are for plating, not dating.

You want someone in their 20s if you're going the kids route, preferably early to mid 20s. After age 30 the fertility of women starts to drop and also have a higher chance of producing offspring with mental/physical/genetic ailments.

Not sure where you live, but in the US most women really start packing on the pounds fast by their mid 30s. What's the point of marrying a woman and being stuck with a whale until she divorce rapes you, especially when you didn't get to enjoy her when she was good looking?

If we can't have kids with someone our own age after 30 then most of us aren't going to have kids at all!
