Hard to draw large scale trends like this. It depends so much on individual genetics, diet, skincare, etc.

Asians tend to age better, but location seems to matter. I've seen humidity thrown out as why Asians in Asia tend to age better than those in North America. That's also going to throw a wrench in looking at their mother as a guideline that was suggested. Also, to keep things about consistent, you'll want her to keep cooking the food that she's used to, so it had better be something you like.

My friends from India would usually go back on vacations and their families there had lined up several eligible ladies for them to meet. Sometimes they did this several times before, I guess, they were satisfied. If you don't have family in the home country or prefer the matchmaker, I think it's a fine idea. Can't hurt and you might meet a girl you want.
