Let the comments go man. If you're being mistaken for woman though, I'd strongly suggest getting a more "military" looking haircut and gaining a bit of muscle mass with tighter fitting clothes.

If you're really concerned about your height, start dating Asian or Hispanic women. All their men are fairly short so it's not much of an issue.

And most of these women, flight attendants, waitresses, et al, are in their 30's (but look in their 20''s! lol) and as they're dealing with people all day, they need a good generic term that will fit both sexes, and 'love' and 'dear' and 'sweetheart' fit that bill perfectly, as they can say it to kids and women and businessmen as well who will probably enjoy the term of endearment or at least not be offended by it!

It keeps customer satisfaction high and makes dudes (generally) feel good. You aren't special, the Shaq would still get called darling/sweetie pie/dear by any of these women as well.

You got a deep voice, use it. Be witty about it. "I appreciate the compliment, but women are much prettier than I am." And if they're being dicks (read the situation, mistakes happen), be a dick back. "That's funny. Hey I'm going to go talk to these women over here. I'd invite you to join me but judging by that high pitch noise coming out of your mouth, you obviously haven't hit puberty yet." Maybe not the best examples, but you get the idea.

You're not a cute man. Cute is a term men use for girls we want to plate, and the occasional agreeance with our lady friend. Cute is used for girls and babies. You are neither, so get over yourself. I would look at my wardrobe if I were you. Even if you weren't built, a good suit, tailored clothes and the like will make sure no one ever questions your gender. Other than that, relax. You're shorter than the average male, don't try to compensate like you are though. Own the shortness, it's who you are and you can't change it. The attitude can change.
