Agree and amplify, make them look like an idiot. Whoever has the most emotional response loses, a calm successful a&a will set you ahead of them. You can always ignore it, but the lesson is to not take it seriously and only assert yourself if they continue to repeatedly try to dominate you (to a ridiculous level).

All 3 are correct and depend on what you feel about the person attacking you. Amog is not disrespect necessarily. NMMNG's version of disrespect is much more invasive than someone trying to have a laugh at your expense.
Say you're at a bar chatting up some chick, and some guy tries to make fun of your t shirt. Ignore him. It's not bothering you - he's being a nuisance and this is precisely how to deal with them.
Let's say he calls you "Bro" and puts his hand on your shoulder. Now you set your boundary - "I'm not your bro. Get your hand off my shoulder."

It depends on the situation. Agree and amplify, disagree and amplify, silence, laugh with them, etc.

The golden rule is: never lose.

If you can make them comply and you're willing to go through with it, you can tell them to comply. If they might just keep on doing what they were doing that will make you look weak, so don't tell them in that case.

If you can succesfully make fun of them or outwit them in some other eay, do that.

If you can't do that, then just STFU and ignore it, don't be bothered by it.

first, keep your cool just like 48 laws says you should. not sure how you should counter though.
