Is it unreasonable for you to be disappointed that he did exactly what you told him to? Yeah.

But attraction can't be negotiated. If you've lost your attraction because he's having a rough spell, well, that's actually pretty natural. But don't try to convince yourself you're being supportive when he accepts your support and you start looking for exits. He trusted you to tell him the truth. Admit you were wrong, that you aren't capable of being supportive in hardships, or decide to be the supportive person you want to be, and would want him to be if the roles were reversed.

You told him not to get you anything. If he doesn't get you anything, then don't be disappointed.
