What are the few things that a potential PhD supervisor should keep in mind while selecting a female graduate student as his candidate? This question arose when i was reading Tim Hunt news. Someone who is experienced as a research scientist in academia please reply.

EDIT:

Constraints:

  1. Senate requires almost half of research group members to be females.

  2. Females Students cant separate between a professional criticism and personal criticism.

  3. They dont seem to realize that their personal problems are not group's problems.

  4. Pretending to be Coy while giving a fucking presentation.

  5. Useless conversations during group meeting.

  6. Acting too tired when an assignment is asked.

  7. Expecting pussypass over deadlines.

  8. Crying misogyny when a senior grad researcher with three single author pubs is funded for a conference where as a fresh no-research-experience female is not funded.
