( I'll just stick to verified facts and not speculation)

There was a girl who fell from a 14th floor apartment balcony a few days ago here in Australia. The male occupant of the apartment has been charged with murder. The accused has not spoken to the police.

His lawyer says "He has exercised his right to silence". However I know he was posting online in the days after the incident.

Eventhough he has not spoken to police, the accused has left a huge trail of online evidence about himself, that will definitely not look good in any trial.

The online evidence includes

  • a tinder profile, and apparently he met the woman who fell to her death on tinder
  • he's admitted to meeting up with 150 women over the past few years
  • the police are now asking people to contact them (which presumably includes these 150 women)
  • there is now a facebook page about him, and police are posting on this page
  • he's posted on a well known bodybuilding site. There are posts about his sexual expoits & failues
  • it appears he has cameras in his apartment recording his antics

I have no idea what happened in this case. But I do know that leaving a huge electronic trail of your sex exploits will not look good in a murder trial.
