Oh yeah that beautiful powerful woman who gets knocked up by a random college boyfriend, keeps the baby without letting him have contact, gets another guy to raise the baby as his own, treats him Like crap until she breaks his heart and the kids' who never knew another father.

Fine, I’ll elaborate. Williams’ character unself-consciously rubs herself against Gosling’s face until she orgasms. She’s in her head, seemingly concerned only about her own pleasure. How often are women shown doing that?
And when a man is shown doing something like that... well, if we're not screaming rape or "near rape" we're blaming it on misogyny and classic male selfishness. Of course.

I think it was referring more to the idea that women are often extremely self-conscious during sex and that can often lead to overthinking, over-analyzing, and ultimately...a lack of an orgasm.
What a shame for a man to spend good quality time doing something like that for his woman to no avail through no fault of his own but because his woman is being a self-conscious, neurotic head-case.
More women need to learn to let go and just enjoy themselves instead of worrying about how their boobs aren't looking their perkiest or worrying if the angle makes them look like they have a double chin. I am incredibly guilty of this.
The truth is, men don't give two shits at that point. Women need to let go. A good man makes it easier but ultimately women need to just cut that shit out.

How could it be referring to that? You're taking it out of context. The context is "this is not normally shown in movies". Women in movies and tv shows are quite often portrayed enjoying the process of sex. Movies are generally known for actually showing sex that goes too well. Every one enjoys it, there's no awkwardness, no funny noises, everyone orgasms (at the same time), and everything happens exactly right. What (evidently) makes this movie unique is not the fact she depicted enjoying herself, but the fact that only she is enjoying herself. It's not for the man's pleasure.
