During a conversation with my drunk wife last night, she said, you made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I was prepared to be married to my career, and have no children or family - and that's hard cause I come from (insert favorite eastern european background). [I was going to ride the cock carousel for the rest of my life]

That got me thinking. I didn't change to convince her to marry me. Back then, I was a young, ambitious man on a mission. I was on track to get a PhD, work at JPL, and just be an all around smart guy. I was a religious man, who valued family, and loved good music. I was the AMOG amongst our friends. And I was low weight. I would definitely fuck me.

So what now? Life's gotten in the way. I failed along the path for my PhD (Master's). Not at JPL, but doing cool work anyhow. But, there's something missing. What is it? Aha! It's my ambition! It's that single minded drive to accomplish a dream. That's what the MAP is about. Finding that something that makes you tick. I can't say that I'm there yet, but I definitely feel more alive than I have in years.

And your woman wants that too. I once heard Esther Perel say, "almost all of these instances of cheating had one thing in common: I felt alive." She doesn't want to be your mother. She doesn't even want to be your children's mother. She'd rather let the herd's betas raise the kids while she fucks the alpha to have more.

What was your offer then and what do you have to offer now?
