What do you do to make your woman feel safe?

I concede my masculinity, fight the patriarchy, petition to remove guns from the world, and recognize that every pronoun is a micro-aggression. I work to prevent all violence, which in turn makes all women safe.

Then I wake the fuck up and realize none of the things above provide any safety, and the only thing that gives a true sense of safety is competent leadership by example.

Shit handled = ladies feel safe.

First, I put a blindfold on her while we are outside the bedroom. Then, I walk her in the bedroom slowly without saying a word. I might throw a bated breath near her ear so she knows I'm there. Once in the bedroom, I take her back to a special corner of the room. I tell her to get on her knees and extend her right hand (she's right handed). Then with my left hand (I'm left handed), I guide her over to the handle. It's sometimes cold so I warn her first. I tell her to FEEL its strength. "It's like steel, baby. It is steel," is what I tell her. Then I move her hand to the dial, tell her the combination and how to open the SAFE. She takes the blindfold off for that part.

Am I doing it right? Someone validate me.
