Please read this book, and really, all the other sidebar books. Especially WISNIFG in your case.

Until then, I would recommend you limit posting on MRP. I'm not suggesting this because I'm a dickhead, but for two reasons. One is because it looks like you were using the DeadBedrooms subreddit as more of a journal/diary than anything, and you may be tempted to do that here. I'm sure it was cathartic to get your distress and frustration out there, even to random internet strangers, but the posts like this one aren't really requesting/exchanging advice, ideas, theories, etc, about Red Pill. Maybe it's cool with the mods for guys to submit posts that could double as a Tumblr entry, but I would suspect otherwise.

I'd encourage you to keep writing down thoughts like these. Start a blog. Buy a notebook and write in a journal. Fuck, if you want to PM me every stray thought you have, go for it. I'm always happy to help a dude unplug. Just saying, there are probably venues for these thoughts than posting on MRP.

Second reason -- based on your previous posts, I think you're tempted to analyze specific conflicts in your marriage, but until you do all the reading this is going to be a "forest for the trees" situation. In your post history you mention having a PhD, so I assume you spent some time as a grad student and you had office hours as a TA. If students came to you needing help without doing the requires reading, that probably seemed intellectually lazy to you. And maybe you would be generous with your time and help them once or twice, but at a certain point you'd just get aggravated. You'd think, "you wouldn't have nearly this many questions if you just did the actual reading!"

So... you probably want to avoid being one of those intellectually lazy students. Your wife is going to say some bitch-ass thing and you're going to wonder if it's because you asserted yourself when you did X, or when you supplicated when you did Y, and if it matters if you did Z instead. Instead of racing over to MRP to ask what it all means and what you should do, take a beat, write it down, think about it. See if you can consider a working Red Pill context that works for your situation. Then, if you're still struggling to grasp the right approach to what seems to be a systematic problem, I think you'll find we're more than willing to help once you've put in the work to grasp and understand our fundamental concepts.

This is a lazy, low effort post. 9/10 times I'd remove it. But, it seems that there's at least a sentiment of commiseration over the book and if people want to rant about it, let's have a go and see if something of value comes out of this.

I'll revisit this tomorrow and see how wrong I was.

That's what got me to swallow the red pill.
I thought that what I went through was some kind of unique horror story. Then I found out that it's such a common pattern than anyone who has swallowed the pill can predict every major milestone for 5-10 years.

I recognize your name and you were posting in DB just a few weeks ago. IMO you're way to focused on participating in the sub and need to spend that time and energy absorbing information.

By your own admission you haven't really swallowed the pill yet so lets try and focus on the basics. Say it out loud: Lift, Read, Lurk.
