I'm not married, and I only recently found out there are married TRP subs. I just want to relay this story to hear what you guys think.

A middle-aged gentleman that I work with was (as best I can tell if I have the story correct) divorced when his kids were in their teens. Thanks to TRP I see the whole situation from a RP perspective. He was divorce-raped and she got custody of the kids. Nevertheless, from what I hear, he did the best he could given his situation. He focused on his work (aka mission), and kept in touch with his kids as best he could via phone and email. He was always there for their school activities (sports games, theater, etc) and would often help-out mom by driving/babysitting them when she couldn't. Lets of RP/AWALT stuff going on in there.

Then a funny thing happened. (from what I understand once a child turns 18, custody doesn't matter anymore) The oldest turned 18 and went off to college. Guess where he stays when he comes home? Dad's house. And it looks like the next child might do the same when she turns 18 and goes to college. Ultimately as they turn 18, it's as if he's winning back defacto custody of his kids. What do you guys think of this?
