200mg a week is not a cruise dose, nor a starting dose for TRT and will more than likely require AI.

You should be starting out at 100mg a week to start.

Get blood panels done first.

Free and total T, LH, FSH, E2, SHBG, PSA, Lipid panel and CBC. You need to find out why your T is low. You don't wanna start any treatment if you have an underlying condition that could cause you harm and I always say use the lowest possible dose you can that makes your life better. This may be 50mg/wk, I am not a fan of more is better.

200mg shot once a week will screw you up. Test Cyp half life is 6-8 days. So at the 8th day you have half of what you started with and you still have to wait 6 more days for your next shot. You'll feel great 3 days in! That means you're gonna crater and fall below what even your normal levels were. You will feel like shit while your body crashes through that level. Your E2 will skyrocket and your balls are gonna shrink, they'll just shrink less with HCG.

A beginning dose is more like 100mg/wk. Some do not even need an AI to keep E2 in check with this dosage. HCG half life is 24-36 hours. I found success injecting T every 5th day, HCG Monday and Thursdays.

I tried sub Q and IM as well as injecting twice a week. Sub Q wasn't as good as IM for me. My numbers sub q weren't as high nor did I feel it lasted as long as IM, ymmv. I saw and felt little noticeable difference injecting 50mg every 3days as opposed to 100mg every 5th.

In the beginning I was doing (200mg/wk) the standard treatment often spoken about here, E2 uncontrollable, heart felt like it could pump the great lakes dry, severe testicular pain, Acne, etc. All was fixed by halving the dosage. I feel real good between 900-1000 with my E2 below 30 and my Free T above 20. You'll spend more on bloodwork trying to find your sweetspot than you will on the pharmaceutical itself. Good Luck!

Google query DEFY MEDICAL. They are the best. Licensed in all 50 states. Tele therapy is the way to go. They’ll get you sorted out in no time and at about the same price your paying now. Possibly less. Good luck.

First off you need to learn everything you can about TRT. I would recommend googling Peak Testosterone and T Nation/ t replacement.

I have been on TRT for 4 years. I have found a good Hormone doctor, but I still have to lead her where I want to go.

I agree with others here, once you start at a t clinic it will be tough to move to a less expensive doctor.

Make sure to do the right tests before you start so you understand what your issue is. You can’t go back and do them once you start TRT.

Also highly recommended at least 2x dosing per week to keep E2 down. I dose EOD because I burn up T so fast. And make sure you get HCG prescribed so your nuts don’t shrink to nothing.

Fucking doctors.

Mine did the test, only gave free test levels, and calculated it in pmol/dl.

Literally unable to convert into a useful #.

Even I'm was barely able to get me an estimate. Anyone here good with science math?

Make sure you have copies of your labs. Original copies, not some shit the T-shop wrote on paper for you. This is essential.

I don't necessarily have a problem with getting gouged for a while, as long as you are getting the service you are paying for. No one is paying 85$ for 6 months, that's the price for the T alone, you are going to spend money on the doctor too, even if you are injecting at home. I spend 175 quarterly on a doc visit, and 48 on my T, which comes out to roughly $225 per quarter (insurance covers my labs). You are at $420 per quarter plus any fees for doctor visits, labs, etc.

IIRC, you are doing well enough to support this. Don't sweat it for now.
