Edit: Thanks guys, I got the answers I needed. As painful as they are.own my shit, make my shit better, learn my shit, wait till after birth for a bit, then implement my shit.

Hi guys

I've been a Mr Nice Guy fit about 8.5 years, with the occasional 'holiday' of getting my shit together, with a corresponding positive reaction by my partner. Until a fail too many little shit tests.

I found redpill about 6 months ago, tried to implement Try but Mr Nice Guy is too strong. I did have some success, only to fall down quickly, it's amazing how fast she can respond to even poorly implemented red pill.

Now I've finally realised it's because I broke rule number 1. I didn't lift.

The problem: my partner is 36 weeks pregnant(third child) , which means the baby is due any time now.
I've told her I'm going to go to the gym, she cracked the shits. I failed that test, a week later I had enough and told her I'm going, she shrub cracked the shits but I insisted, poorly. At least I didn't crack.

The relationship is on a bad way, it's close to rock bottom, I've had enough of having little of my needs met, in more ways than just sexually. I'm telling her that if our bedroom doesn't improve in out. And I fucking mean it.

Now, is it a bad time to start implementing all that I've learned given that she is so close to birth?
Is it too much of a dick thing to do given her emotional state?
Should I be affirming my stance on sex? Not just sex but other factors such as the gym, attempting to pass shit tests or just STFU if I sense weakness in myself.

I guess what I'm asking, is what parts of TRP should I be practising and not practising during this time and the 2-3 months after birth?

Cheers guys. Lifting starts this Saturday.
