First off, I can see underneath all this puke that you already know what is going wrong here. What you want is for us bunch of random dudes from the internet to tell you / confirm to you what you already know. Thats lazy. Who cares what we think? Sounds to me like you are trying to hold on to all the shitty unattractive parts of your ego and personality (and the subsequent behaviours that arise from those) and you are looking for a magical way to apply some coat of paint on top of all that shit so that you can have your cake and eat it. You need something, one thing, that is going to trigger you to open your eyes and face your reality. If you wait around doing what you are doing for long enough, the universe will surely provide ample opportunities for the light bulb to light up. These things tend to happen in their own time. "Dont try to rush it". But, there are shortcuts. "Trying to dread her" is not a shortcut. Thats just weak and pathetic. Maybe there'll be a serious illness in your family, a death, a job loss, an affair, some hot chick at work. If you are not "awake" by the time one of those happens, then you will have the opportunity to introspect and peel away the paint and examine the brickwork then. If you want the shortcut option, then what you gotta do is start peeling off that paint right now. And dont come on here every 5 minutes telling us "look guys! look what I found! I'm a weak sauce victim and I've seen the light!" We've all been through it, and we know the shit that you are seeing. Even that urge inside you to come and tell us what you saw is something that you need to peel away.

Of course, I am giving you a massive benefit of the doubt here that you are willing to do any of this. I know you are capable of it, because everyone is. But dont underestimate the depth you need to go to. It's almost like death really. Thats a good start. Write your own obituary. Visualize the funeral. Get comfortable with the idea that you are only here temporarily, and that life goes on, with or without you. You are chasing BJs now. How insignificant are those in comparison to the life or death choices that you make every day?
