I'm grateful for the amazing person my grandmother was, and that I got to spend 18 years of my life with her in it. I got two boxes in the mail from my mom on Friday full of her journals, genealogical research, and other odds and ends. The journal she wrote was about the relationship she had with my grandfather, who is really not a good person - I learned a lot more about the ways in which he was a bad person, and that was rather shocking. In it, she had some really great advice that I wish all women could see in their young years - particularly, how to avoid a lot of things she regretted by not vetting him or his family properly. One phrase that she wrote really stuck out to me the most, and I've been mulling it over since Sunday morning: "Kisses are not contracts." I think once I roll it around in my brain for a while longer I might write a post on it.
I am grateful for my 2nd Amendment rights as an American. I may have used that one before, but I'll leave it at that.
I am grateful for B and everything he does for us! Because of his management of our finances, we're taking our vacation much sooner than expected, which makes me very happy because that means we can get into a new house and have babies sooner. :)

I'm grateful to all our friends who went out of their way to help us move. R's best friend helped him carry furniture and my best friend helped me pack (not move, pack..aka the shitty part haha) everything at our old place. Best surprise? R's best friend and my best friend turned out to be neighbors. I'm talking they share a fence that we now jump back and forth over to go from one backyard to the other. Now we all hang out!!
I'm grateful to my mom and stepdad, who helped us unpack and put away things at our new place, as well as repairs at our old place to help us get back the bulk of our deposit.
I'm extremely grateful to R for being the best person to move with ever and not letting the stress get to him, even when it got to me. He picked up my slack when I was exhausted, and pushed me when I needed it so we could get the whole thing done. If we had drawn the move out, R wouldn't have minded half a second much as I would have, so it meant a lot to me that he helped me work toward my own goals of just finishing the damn thing so we didn't have a stressful environment any more.

I am grateful for my SO and all he does for me. I find myself just amazed sometimes that he pulls his own weight and I just need to appreciate what a great person he is and how amazing it is to be around him.
I am grateful for automoderator who lets me relax and post things I want to without it seeming like I'm bombarding the sub with content all. the. time. lol
I am grateful for aa. It takes away the crazies sometimes. :D

I'm grateful for having the means to travel home to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I'm especially grateful for time spent with my grandfather, who is quite elderly.
I'm grateful for my SO for coming to pick me up from the airport! Our airport is not even remotely convenient, and he drove up during a very busy week and greeted me with a big bear hug and lots of kisses, and he listened to me chatter about my weekend in the car on the way home, and it was just wonderful.
I'm thankful for tea and chocolate. Two little treats that consistently bring a little sparkle of joy into my life! I've been making an effort to actually make tea for myself at home, and when I do it, it just... warms me up. Physically and in my soul.

I am thankful for:

-A yoga teacher at my gym who has really helped with my practice over the past month. Since I've started going to yoga classes 4 times a week, my stress levels have plummeted and I'm in such a better mood when I'm done with class. Flexibility and toning is just an added benefit!

-My family. It was a rough week last week with the passing of a family member. While we might have our disagreements on occasion, when times are tough we come together to support each other. I wouldn't have made it through the week without all of the love and compassion.

-My SO being a rock. He is so supportive and scooped me up when I fell to pieces last week. G is a man I will always be able to look to in the worst of times, and he is always so strong. I'm a lucky girl to have a man as great as him in my life. :)

I am grateful for my husband's manual skills. I broke our shredder by accidentally pushing it off the shelf and the plastic cracked quite badly, but my husband managed to fix it! I love this man so much. <3
I am grateful for Cyber Monday sales. We normally aren't into Black Friday/Cyber Monday events, but this year we were overdue on some computer equipment. We managed to get some sweet deals, which means more money in our pockets!
I am grateful for my husband and I's group of friends, with whom we spent an awesome Saturday afternoon. We don't go out much, and this was a much needed distraction and social event!

It's not tuesday, but I'll update this week as well:

I'm grateful that I have SO that I can miss while he's away
I'm grateful that I have some me-time while he's away
I'm grateful that I got to see some of my friends this week that I haven't seen in ages and today we have girls night with my sister. We are going to see some stand up comedy.
