I sometimes do this and im unsure of it communicates inability to handle or just the “so stupid not worth acknowledging” i think it does.
Obviously some shit tests CANNOT be ignored. Or have to be dealt with some way overtly, but when a ltr or fb or even plate says a comment offhand this is the context im implying.
Imagine you were explaining something you know to a ltr, and she snaps back with “you dont even x” (subtext: you dont have authority to advise, but in reality shes just shit testing and she knows what ahe said isnt true)
In this situation i see a failure obviously to explain “no, i do do x”(suplicating)
But sometimes i just ignore this kinda thing instead of agree and amplify or anything. I dont react at all and move along implying what they said was so stupid it deserves no attention.
Is this correctly done?
