What part of nyc are you talking about? What kind of girls? A chick you meet in a Washington Heights is different than Flushing or Williamsburg.

If you're doing the typical newb bs at Washington Square Park those chicks are younger and care a lot more about cool than money. Plus a lot of them NYU chicks have rich parents. If she has been doing summers in the Hamptons since she was a kid, you can't lead with your wallet. Even the chicks at a Baruch might have some uncles that own buildings in Harlem and Brooklyn.

You must be new to NYC and new to TRP. I’ve lived in NY all my life and I can tell you. It is home to gold diggers. Show off your money with a weak frame and you are only going to attract gold diggers who are looking for a beta provider. Having a high income can benefit yet hurt your success all at the same time.

u/WIA20XX Broke it down in a lovely demographic but it doesn’t have to be that difficult. If you’re decent looking, have some status, frame and game. You can get girls in NYC. This place is pussy central. Just take into mind that these women also have an abundance of options when it comes to men. So the numbers game also takes into play when it comes to success with pick up.

It's the money.

This isn't just NYC, it's any major cosmopolitan city. In my area I see lots of HB8s+ with outright schlubs, it sometimes boggles my mind. But these are invariably mid-20s or older girls who've decided that the dorky Facebook engineer or pudgy doctor is better relationship material than the hot fun frat boy she banged in college.
