I (28f) met a guy (31m) on a matrimony site- end goal is marriage.

He went from texting daily to once every few days. He made plans to come see me (long distance) and we FaceTimed for 6 hours one night. He said he focuses on a single person at a time (which I’m doubting cause I always see him active on the site. He said he goes on the site to see my pics so I sent them to him directly and he’s still active on the site. I played myself with that one).

So I told him today the inconsistency isn’t working for me and he linked it to his texting style which isn’t frequent but you can still get to know someone. I said you can’t get to know anyone without contacting them daily on any platform (text, call, FT)...and considering you USED to do it all the time, I know you’re capable. Now he’s saying we shouldn’t rush !? I mean rush what!? Talking and getting to know each other!?

Deep down I know if he wanted to call or text- he would. I shouldn’t have to ask. This is the 3rd time I’ve bought up how I’m not happy with the communication.

Ughhh it feels like a shame to throw away potential for something like texting .
